Now Lucifer got decapitated by the villains, he gave his power to Sandalphon(which is why there’re lyrics saying the wings Lucifer gave him are too white for his back to bear). And Sandalphon is hoping one day he can have a cup of coffee with Lucifer again.

But that wish ended up being betrayed in worst ways possible. I consider that, to him, having no role means that not only he has no reason of being on his own, because he's only a replacement, it also means that he thought that he couldn't be of use to Lucifer. However, while he can get a role as a Primarch, that role can only be gotten when something happens to the person he loves and respects the most....
My friend got me into GBF by showing me Sandalphon and Lucifer art and now one week after playing I've cleared both parts to this and I'm just...crying. The entire story tore at my heart and I'm really hoping part 3 gets a rerun soon. Thank you so much for uploading this!

At 0:52, I think "Why is the sky blue? and (why) are wishes went further away the more you ask" is more apt. My personal opinion though, other than that this is actually one of the best translation of a song I've ever seen.
I know, that's why its just my personal opinion. However, at the risk of going on a rant, I'll tell you the reason why I think "why" is more apt or fitting translation. First, I would like to stress that this is just my personal opinion, without the intent of making anyone accept my preferred translation, and, realizing that some of my wordings might make me come across like a weaboo, I assure you that I do NOT think that everything is better in Japanese, this is just my preference in translation. Now without further ado.... First, GBF's official English translation tend to change some of the original Japanese meanings, either into a similar meaning/word or something different entirely. Take some of the Revenant Weapons for example, the kanji of Seven Star Sword in Japanese still means Seven Star Sword and the Kanji for Realm in Nine Realm Harp can mean both Realm and World, however, Two Crown Bow's Kanji actually means Two Kings Bow and Ten Wolf Gun's Kanji is actually Ten Wolf Thunder/Lightning, not to mention that Luminiera was originally Chevalier in the Japanese dialog. Second, Japanese is a hard language to read, write and speak, to the point that even Japanese people themselves sometimes mistook the meaning of another person's words. That's why when I translate Japanese to another language, not only English, I also use a word association game kind of thing. In this case, "どうして空は青いのか” becomes "Why is the sky blue" which then becomes "The reason the sky is blue" which became "What makes the sky blue", at this point, there is nothing wrong with the translation. I have the same take like you.The concept of love for primarch is something unnatural, since they dont reproduce like normal creature and they dont have human customs like marriage and dates. ( Pls let us date Olivia). But that doesnt mean the bond between the two isnt real, they truly care about each other more than anything.
I started playing the game (very casually) last July and got to play the re-run of the event ... and BOY am I glad I did ! It was really good, and the ending gave me LOTS of feels even though I never played the 2 side-stories.

I started playing the game (very casually) last July and got to play the re-run of the event ... and BOY am I glad I did ! It was really good, and the ending gave me LOTS of feels even though I never played the 2 side-stories.
