Has anyone found a way to modify these so the bait is inside the trap like it idk how every trap for anything works. I assumed the bait bowl was inside when I bought it. It’s not. They are trash. I sat outside and watched flies land on the bait and then fly out the side.
They work great, they are the best out there especially if you have chickens, it's the only trap that you can use to feed them with. Best bait to use is eggs
They don’t work. Trust me. Been at it for a week. The flies just fly out the gap and don’t fly up into the trap. The bait need to be INSIDE the trap. Like the ones they sell at Walmart.
Some of you commenters need to read the description of the device - it says 'Does NOT come with bait' !! For $5/trap - for this effective a trap... just quit complaining. Watch the other videos and read the other comments for bait suggestions, try them, and reach your own conclusions as to effectiveness.
It's not complaining. It's giving reviews of this piece of trash. We spent good money and time waiting for these and find out the trap bowl is NOT CONNECTED TO THE TRAP? That's complaining to you? That's a non workable trap. And people need to know it BEFORE THEY BUY IT! D.A.
They don't...this thing just attracts flies,knats, etc... there's a huge gap they fly in and out...the only trapped ones....are pushed there through a tiny hole at where the hook is attached to the hanger.
The only thing these traps could use to improve them is a zipped to easily empty the bag, and a cover for the bait bowl so it doesn't dry out so fast. I usually just cover it with foil and poke some holes in it.

In direct sunlight . Rain storm I assume will ruin the bait ?
I used chicken skin and the flies loved it. Better than commercial bait and not very stinky.

Their bait is garbage TBH, best thing to use is eggs, the more rotten the better, but freh eggs will work too.

You didn't show how's flies get into the net

GLUE A ZIPPER TO THE NET. Once dry. Open zipper and cut net.
