    Nice tip for using a banana. I will remember if I have a fly problem.

    That looks like a good fly catcher. Hey, for some reason, I am not being notified of your videos so I unclicked the bell and clicked it again to see if that will work. Have a good one!!

    Thank you so much! I added some microwaved old fish and banana and it’s working great so far! The bait my trap came with wasn’t very effective- but this is amazing

    That's interesting. I wonder what it is that attracts them in the banana? Good info.

      lol , they must be , the more i think about it the more I think the smell of the banana sticks around longer then poo . not sure though I discovered this when the chickens refused to eat the banana (picky eaters) and the flies were all over them .

    Wow that's a lot of flies. I usually get a gnat problem during the summer and those are hard to trap I just use the strips which I hate because they're gross but the other things I've tried haven't worked. Can you feed those to the chickens when you're done?

    • @homesteadingwithsadie
      @homesteadingwithsadie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep the chickens will eat them it’s just hard getting them out of the netting
