I restored my dads 63 when he passed. He removed the firing pin when I was a kid because he let me play with it when I was a kid and thought it was broken until I took it apart and fixed it. The first time he heard that click the pin got taken and lost to time. When I got my hands back on it I fully restored the beautiful wood reblued it and ordered a new firing pin. The bolt due to dry firing it so many times was peened out and required a thin Diamond file to restore. The new firing pin had to be slightly modified but now it works perfect it looks brand new I can't believe how nice the wood was hiding under the horrible old finish.
@@survivorjohnny44 I'm really surprised they have such a low estimated value but I guess they don't take into consideration intrinsic value. If it was worth $500 I still wouldn't sell it.
i always liked the looks of the Manlincher rifle...looks like it should be on safari or something! slick safety as well...now if you can just remember to disengage the thing!!!!ha ha!....atb John...woods

@@survivorjohnny44 rest in peace Gary Larson from "the far side" I still think about that drawing of the kid trying to push the door open on the school for the gifted when the sign clearly says pull to open. Hope that's what you were referencing.

Got mine when I was about 10 years old. Bought with 8 3/8 books of S&H Green Stamps, in Lubbock, TEXAS.
I only had this one for a short time to mess around with it. It shot well. I enjoyed it. Do you still have yours

+MI Timberwookie it does feel good in the hand and shoots well but taking that safety off before pulling the trigger kept getting me, lol
I use aguila colibres and shoot it in my backyard it's quieter than my pellet gun.
