My husband loves how clean and tidy our house is kept. He always says it's such a relief to come home, even with our 2 toddlers. When he's on his way home I say come on babies let's tidy up so papa comes home to a clean house. I work a few days from home and the others in the office.. having a routine and meal plan has allowed me to have dinner each night. I have a work meeting coming up in 20 min and after putting my son down for his nap I put on my headphones listening to this video and knocked out a load of laundry, chopped veggies for dinner, put away the kid's toys, and washed dishes. No complaining here, my work is not in vain.
When my son was a boy the top drawer was for just this. Rolled bundles of full outfits, socks and underwear included. He made his pick of them each day. It was the best thing I ever did! As I was folding and putting away laundry. Then changed it up with tue seasons. Love that you mentioned this Pro-Fly Tip! 💖
I was in the kitchen washing dishes barefoot and I dropped a Correlle bowl It shattered in a lot of pieces! I had to figure out how to get out of the kitchen without cutting my feet. I got 2 pots and shuffled out. Now I never ever go barefoot again.
I love that…gown towel 😂! I never get dressed first thing but I want to. This is going to be my challenge… need to put clothes out the night before. When I did this yesterday I actually took the rubbish out first thing as I had shoes on 😮!!!
I love my shoes! My feet are so much more comfortable and healthier because I'm very disciplined about wearing my comfortable supportive hotter shoes. We have no carpets just hard cold floors and a big heavy boisterous Springer spaniel who would break all the bones in your feet if he stood on you! I've been struggling lately so I am glad you are helping us get back into good ways Marla. Thank you, love vera in Northern Ireland
I love that you are going through the 101. Our family is exhausted this week. Dad having to work extra, helping Nana move in, fishing, school prep, anndd then we get with lice from the neighbors. My daughter seems to be all clear but we are going to treat everyone and twice just in case. Thankful for this year of decluttering, it's making vacuuming and laundry easier. Thank you flylady!
If you don't like wearing outside shoes in the house, get a pair that are only to be worn in the house. Mr. Rogers used to change his shoes when he came in from outside; remember?
I will never use lace up shoes. I have some rubber slippers I can wear indoors that suffice. I keep my outdoor shoes by the door. Just getting completely dressed in the morning before I allow myself to have breakfast has been a game changer. I also don’t make enough laundry to do laundry every day, but I do it as soon as I collect a load. I live alone.

Toni, we work 7 days a week to keep the website up, get emails out and answer emails. We are dressed to shoes each morning. Yes, we do lounge over a second cup of coffee from time to time but we are still dressed to shoes. 👟

If you have autism Id say just get fully dress dont worry about shoes. I'm the same way. Even when I was a baby I would hide shoes so I didnt have to wear them. Its also about routine and so socks can help and keep you from getting icky but for real be careful because of how slippery they can be
