I was waiting to see if someone would take up keebsters mantle. Hi3rd really does need more people willing to make guide videos that actually have the person talking. the ones left only have blocks of text to explain things which doesn't help that much imo. most people would not want to pause a video just to read all that info. this was a really thorough video and enjoyed it even as an old player. the menus are always the most frustrating thing to explain to new players.
Agree. It really isn't easy taking mantle of the HI3 GOAT. Keeping updated of a VERY fast paced gacha game is already tiring, let alone a complete guide like this, voiced.

I started since I heard sparkle is coming to hi3…. And I wished I knew of the overall mihoyo in 2017- I could’ve started in 1.0 But I’m glad ,starting now doesn’t feel bad either,as a hsr player since beginning,I can now know the honkai verse story fully too and ofc enjoy this game Edit: ty for being one of my fav guides in hi3, I love supporting u
Good decision, in my personal opinion hi3 is the best game from hoyo, that doesn't mean that the others are bad. Just that hi3 suits my taste best, and I basically saw our tuna grow up^^.

This guide is one of the best guides I have seen on TH-cam. Honkai Impact 3rd is such an overwhelming game, it is easy to miss out on things or make mistakes compared to genshin or hsr which were fairly easy. While I am not exactly a new player, I played this game till level 40 for Fischl, then stopped playing for years, and now I am playing it again for Sparkle (Luckily I got her today only), and among all the guides, this guide is exactly what I was looking for (since hi3 is a very old game now). The things you explained in the video made many things fairly simple, which will surely make things smoother going ahead. Also, your voice is so good it helps to focus on what's going on in such a long guide! The fact that there are still things left out (combat stuff in your other video), I am gonna watch that video too. Thank You for making such an amazing guide! P.S. Sorry for my English.

thanks for the video! personally i tried the game because of Sparkle, but its kind of overwhelming, the new player experience is awful and the game does a really poor job of explaining anything vital to both the combat and the management its also really unpolished in a lot of areas, so i think i will just drop it i will for sure recommend this video tho, i know some HSR buds were looking to play HI3 and seemed more enthusiastic than me, so this will for sure be helpful
Normal With Orbs are pretty handy for veterans but definitely not for beginners. I have actual millions of A rank vakyrie eggs frin events and just daily shop for coins. Whenever I need some AE Imaginons or refine my stigmata I go and salvage a few hundred A-rank valk fragments and exchange them in Witch's corridor

Hey i know this video is old and you probably don't see this so new players maybe invest a minute reading this :) One thing that you didn't mention i believe as you said "the expedition menus times have passed" is not exactly true for a new player, you can only send out the expeditions in the dorm once you have fully 3-star cleared each corresponding mission (UNLESS THEY CHANGED THAT I DUNNO xD) so you need to manually clear that mission first with 3-Star rating and THEN you can send them from the Dorm menu. That's how it was at least a couple months ago
I just had a question about the starry wishes and how it works exactly. Like if you purchase the $50 would you be able to get a copy of hofi and the other character or is that meant for something else?
I generally don't recommend waiting to breakthrough at all. The point of breaking through is to get more materials, your ancient legacy and PRI material income is increased by a lot. A few older casual players still have the mindset that you need built teams to even think of entering exalted, and that's simply not true anymore. The average player can reach level 80 in a month, and the income from exalted A3 is slightly higher than masters RL while being around the same difficulty if not easier. There's really not any downside to breaking through, especially on a patch like this one (7.8 at the time of writing) when new players have access to an entire full team (Vita HoFi VBm) which can easily take them to RL. Obviously it's completely valid for a casual player to camp masters still if they wish, but logically it doesn't make much sense. Anyway, good guide :)
can you explain part 2 team rotations? as a returnee i have thelema and blastmetal full set, HoFİ new gears and (hopefully) soon Vita (or on her rerun 😭) but i struggle so much on abyss i was a top 3 redlotus player now i struggle so hard in agony 2 and its lowkey insulting 😭
it will come back eventually, might take a while though. yes, for battlesuit supply and equipment supply. if you see a banner called focused supply, avoid that since the pity does not carry over and it's for older valkyries.
I want some suggestions. I started playing 5 days ago and kinda confused which Valkyrie should i go for Vita or Songque..i like Songque but ig rn I want some character who can clear some content for a while
Both are respective best in class - Songque for physical team and Vita for Lightning. Honestly you can't go wrong with either and ideally really want both. My 2 cents would be that Songque is slightly better simply because she is Stardust type, which means she doesn't play into the same triangle typing of Mech/Bio/Psychic - so she can be used to brute force things a little easier and will help extra with stardust bosses (stardust has advantage against stardust). Otherwise, best advice would be to give them both a spin in the character trainer and see which one you like more 🤷🏼♂️ thankfully Songque will have a rerun after vitas banner this patch and Vita will have a rerun after Sparkle's banner next patch - so you have solid time to try and pull both. Lastly, worth mentioning that gear in HI3 is WAY more important than it is in other Hoyo games. Characters that don't have their weapon and stigma are largely considered useless because you'll get roughly half the damage out of them 😬 thankfully, p2 stigma is craftable, so really you only need to pull character + weapon (though I have yet to pull a weapon before getting a full stigma set anyway).

How do I get the cross divine key? all the others I was able to get from realms of battle but I already got all the divine keys from that so idk how to get that one
If you don't have them yet, you can craft Pledge of Sakura, and for Oath of Judah you can find it in the Exchange Shop menu. Have you tried to open the Divine Key menu in the dorm? Just in case you have them already but you can't find them among all your items.
Vita is great but for her to truly shine, you need 3 "Rite of Oblivion (ROO)" units. It's written in her Leader skill, "When there are 2/3 characters with Rite of Oblivion on the team, Lone Planetfarer deals 20%/70% more Total DMG and Lightning DMG". The damage gap is significant. Currently the ROO units are Vita, Coralie, and God Kiana HOFi (considered ROO, ONLY with her new gears)
@@MemeingLegends Vita'll probably get rerun not too far into the future, they've been pretty consistently rerunning the new valykries throughout part 2.
