Footage of a Durbar of Chiefs from the Greater Accra area celebrating the return to Ghana's capital city of the new Head of State, Colonel Ignatius Acheampong from a tour of the country's regions.
Acheampong overthrew the civilian administration of Dr. Kofi Busia in January 1.972 and established the National Redemption Council.
Except of Acheampong's speech:
"Beloved Ghana, born with a deep sense of pride, nurtured with unshakable courage, has said goodbye forever to reaction, to timidity and hypocrisy in Government, and to the suppression of the interests and welfare of the people.
