last year I met a girl which basically turned my life around, through the conversations and fun we had together
i had done a lot of work beforehand but,
she pulled me out of my 10-year long depression and it still feels unreal to me that I don't feel suicidal anymore
idk where I would be if it wasn't for her
we've parted ways months ago, but she's left me a changed man and i'll be forever greatful to her
whoever reads this, i wish you to find someone who'll postively impact you the same way she impacted me

glad you were lucky to find someone like that, it doesn't matter if they don't stay, they were there when you needed it and they changed you for better. This matters.
For Cross to be so open and accepting and loving despite seemingly growing up having been mistreated and uncared for by his own family is truly inspiring and beautiful ❤

It feels like they've done deep therapy for each other and are so close that eachothers' pasts super matter to them. And they're into deeply knowing themselves and each other and are like therapists for each other and really encouraging eachothers' growth. And like a huge-hearted love.

He has a baby face and so I would never have suspected that he struggled in his past. It goes to show that we never really know who people are, where they come from anf what they have been through until they are willing to share and until we give them the space to do that.

I felt that way for a long time and even went a solid 2 years of not so much as entertaining the thought of talking to anyone. And still nothing is guaranteed in life but to always know you have yourself and that you are enough. My only suggestion, give yourself a minute of self-pity (personal experience), then put yourself together, put yourself out there to new opportunities, not with the mindset of failure or success, but simply get to know someone new, and go from there. Every person you meet is like a blank slate, so whatever hang ups or heartbreak, or even feelings of rejection that you've felt from someone in the past, it doesn't have to carry over to the next person you meet. And also, I learned the hard way to calm all the way down, when that great opportunity presents itself.
