Hi very informative! I’m in Southern California and I have no idea where to go to get help with this idea… any help?

Thank you for the information. I had DMX with DIEP reconstruction on 7/25. I had to keep the drain in my right breast for an extra week due to a bit of cellulitis. This breast was radiated 3 years ago. Once the drain finally came out, I quickly noticed some hardening down the side and across the bottom of the breast. The skin is so tight, my right breast is at least 2 inches higher than the left. It feels as if there is a thick rectangular pad just under the skin. I’m hoping I can figure out a way to resolve it.

Hi Mrs Giggity, if you can find a therapist with lymphedema skills or breast cancer scar treatment skills- they will help you by assessing the area and giving you some special methods to reduce the stiffness. PS There are several methods. If you need any extra help, I can be available for an online assessment/consult- where you become my hands with clear instructions.
