Sir gour information was incorrect wben you said that "astra and barak-8 missiles atankwadiyon ko nistanabud kar sakte hai. " It's because the astra and barak 8 missles are used as an air to air and a surface to air missile respectively. They are used for air defence purposes and not in striking the enemy.

There is an over-emphasis on offense capabilities with little evaluation of defensive systems. How will India protect against similar offensive capabilities from its enemies like China? Without an over-powering defense against the firepower of China, it will be a battle of attrition with the one with the most attack munitions being victorious. Need to know what India is working on as a protective umbrella.
