The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is my all time favourite Zelda game, because I still like Nintendo Wii, Wolf is my favourite animal and Midna's the most beautiest Zelda female character even beautier than Zelda herself just in my opinion. 😊❤

The Oracle games (or the "Gimmicky Games" as you call them) are the reason I'm such a big Zelda fangirl now. Not Ocarina, not Wind Waker. The little hated on Oracle games.

So did the Oracle games. They were MY Zelda games, and what got me hooked. Watch Mojo are full of a-holes who constantly lump these games into the "nobody likes them so why bother talking about them" pile. And they were freaking great games. I would never have tried out Twilight Princess if it wasnt for Seasons and Ages.

The hell happened to Phantom Hourglass? Also I don't think "trains" qualifies as a gimmick. And I don't think all of those games should have been jumbled up like that. They are all good in their own right so they shouldn't be put in a group because their handheld and "gimmicky."
Okay I have a fair few favorites: -Link's Awakening was my first time playing Zelda. Got it along with Yellow and my first GameBoy in Christmas of '99 -Wind Waker was the first one I ever completed to the end -Spirit Tracks felt right to me as I was a fan of Thomas growing up -Twilight Princess was one I actually felt the most immersion and emotion with, especially given the hopeless romantic that I am. Seriously, the romantic undertones of Midna and Link's relationship was really something else and it doesn't help that the most recent manga adaptation took it even further by basically confirming MidLink as canon -Breath of the Wild is a favorite of mine, especially with most of the callbacks to the Child Timeline. Also, Fish Waifu for the win which is why Age of Calamity I can lump in here too as it's an alternate time of events to where we stop Ganon from reviving
Hard one OOT, MM, WW, TP, SS, BOTW, TOTK are always contenders for the No1, I just can´t decide, all of them had a big impact and also everytime I revisit them I still love every minute of them in different ways, now portatil ALBW, PH, ST, MC are the equivalent of my No 1 but portatil or overal the next from my previous list, Phantom Hourglass being my first portatil one and also my first portatil console, then I managed to play most Zelda games except for the Four Swords from NGC which I played but never ended as it wasn´t even mine, all others where from the original versions or Wii, WiiU, DSi and 3DS e-shop, not even the online service on Switch was required for playing all those games for the first time.
My favorites are A Link to the Past; that's my childhood favorite. But Tears of the Kingdom was the first to truly surpass it for me. I love the classic genre defining Magnum Opus' and have a massive appreciation for all of gaming and not just stuff I grew up with. Majora's Mask is my number 3 that's perfectly fitting for number 3.
Gimick a GIMMICK wow my top two games were put in there even though shrinking to a small size and merging into walls is not just a gimmick in the game but part of it

Too lazy to separate out the handhelds? None of them are the same as the others. Gimmicks are a part of the established Zelda formula and is an invalid point. Even Ages and Seasons are two very distinct games, despite being a pair. So next time, do us a favor and invest time into showing appreciation for them.
Link's Awakening is not only top of my LOZ favorite list, it is one I've played every iteration of. Back in the day, I even had a walkthrough typed up for it.
Wii U Hyrule Warriors and a Switch Hyrule Warriors of corse have Zelda characters and tells the story of Hyrule but those are Zelda spinoff games so taht's why those aren't in this list like Cadence of Hyruly rythm Zelda game on a Switch. Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity is Zelda spinoff what i'm interested of buying and playing the most before starting my Tears of the Kingdom. Or is it enough if I've already played Botw on a Wii U? 😮
From what i played my favorites are twilight princess for both its shading and its in depth story line, not because im a fan of majora mask (im actually not a big fan of that game), link between worlds because of how they computed with what they were given and to me and excelled (for most hand helds to be considered gimmicks when they are actually gems, ouch they hit where it would hurt), and skyward sword for both the shading and the storyline as well as the colorful characters, and yes im an artist so sue me
Favorite 2D is hands down A Link to the Past. Favorite 3D I am torn between OOT and BOTW. OOT for the memories and BOTW for all the hours I spent playing it when I first got my Switch and couldn't put it down.

Wind Waker will always be my favorite. It brought me into the series and I wish I hadn’t missed Majora’s Mask and Ocarina of Time, so here I am, waiting for sequels. Skyward Sword takes a close second, and I’m not ranking BoTW and ToTK because of the drastically differentiating game styles. Unfortunately, you did not get my personality right. I’m anxious and might be fun to be around, but I don’t think I am. I also am into the dark stuff.
I don't like the original. It's too cryptic and the controls feel a bit restrictive since you can't move diagonally. Well I'm not Gen X but I still feel old. Zelda 2 is too damn hard. Link to the Past is when Zelda started to get good. Ocarina of Time is not the best Zelda game. It has been dethroned since then. I'm a millennial and my first Zelda game is Oracle of Ages. Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom gave me a bit of OCD. I felt like I had to do every single shrine. I wasn't as crazy as my sister who actually attempted to 100% the game. I played these games for over 100 hours. I expected people to make ridiculous contraptions in TOTK. They did not disappoint. My favorite is Tears of the Kingdom, Majora's Mask, Skyward Sword, and the Oracle games.

That was sooooo bad. It feels like you didn't know what a lot of those Zelda games are, which is shocking as I feel like you did so many videos about Zelda games you should know stuff. Calling Wind Waker light and nice only due to graphics, ignoring things like the ending of the game for example is quite ignorant, shallow treating game like Majora's Mask to be just "edgy", then packing up every 2D game of gba / ds era calling it a gimmick game. I wonder if you played Minish Cap. Cause I can sorta turn a blind eye for spirit tracks and phantom hourglass with this, but summarizing a game like minish cap as a game for ppl who like gimmicks is ridiculously ignorant. I know you make a lot of videos and don't work much on many of those to publish regularly, but actually doing some research to make interesting material with valid points throughtout the video should have some priority. You pretty much summed up all games with one or none key-words that mostly appeals to visuals or one specific theme and then to when the game released as an indicator that probably people who were kids back then had it as their first and nostalgia-treasure it. Because of toxic players in tri-force heroes i did not enjoy it and was my least favorite but it still a good game. If i had to say which Zelda game was my favorite I'd go with the Oracle games, specifically seasons. One i started with was wind waker.
I've played all the Zelda games except for the one with the train they're all good in their own right I don't really have a favorite but if I did I'd say link to a past ocarina of Time and Majora's mask definitely top tiers breathe of the wild totk are special in there own way
I've been playing Zelda ever since the first one was released in 1986. I have memories with my dad, my siblings, my wife, and my kid. Each from different Zelda games. Because of that I have many favorites. I just love the series.
My first LoZ was OoT and i grew to love that game. I didn't play my MM properly for a bit but when i did, i held it in equal esteem. Played it 4 times over and got the Fierce Diety mask on that 4th playthrough. I currently play TotK, using my FD set so you can see the impact. Lol
Majoras Mask is my favorite but its weird how you clumped all handhelds together with Mish through Tracks. Those are so massively different they dont deserve the same spot. Minish is my favorite 2D. And i liked Tracks over Phantom. They're all great,,, but definitely not close enough to lump together
Not a millennial but my first Zelda game was OOT because there was a OOT/MQ and WW two-disc for GameCube. Played MM afterwards and that stuck as my favourite ever since
You're wrong. I'm not a Beatles fan nor a Millennial. Twilight Princess I saw more of it as Ocarina of Time. These are my top three that I hold dearly to my heart and still play to this day. Oh, and I've played Zelda one when it first came out.
My favorite Zelda game is oot, tp, ss, botw, and totk. My first Zelda game was a link to the past and I enjoyed it for what it was, but I loved every Zelda game I have ever played cause they were all great in their own respective way.

I have a soft spot for links, awakening, and a link to the past, but to me the series reached perfection with a link between worlds.

I'm partial to Majora's Mask, but I like 90s alternative music and am not a fan of My Chemical Romance.
That was sooooo bad. It feels like you didn't know what a lot of those Zelda games are, which is shocking as I feel like you did so many videos about Zelda games you should know stuff.
Calling Wind Waker light and nice only due to graphics, ignoring things like the ending of the game for example is quite ignorant, shallow treating game like Majora's Mask to be just "edgy", then packing up every 2D game of gba / ds era calling it a gimmick game. I wonder if you played Minish Cap. Cause I can sorta turn a blind eye for spirit tracks and phantom hourglass with this, but summarizing a game like minish cap as a game for ppl who like gimmicks is ridiculously ignorant.
I know you make a lot of videos and don't work much on many of those to publish regularly, but actually doing some research to make interesting material with valid points throughtout the video should have some priority. You pretty much summed up all games with one or none key-words that mostly appeals to visuals or one specific theme and then to when the game released as an indicator that probably people who were kids back then had it as their first and nostalgia-treasure it.
Please mojo, if you don't have a good material, just don't push the video. Hard to keep notifications on your channel and getting a cheap crap of a video like this one. Disappointed.

Twilight Princess is my all time fav
Because of toxic players in tri-force heroes i did not enjoy it and was my least favorite but it still a good game. If i had to say which Zelda game was my favorite I'd go with the Oracle games, specifically seasons. One i started with was wind waker.

I've played all the Zelda games except for the one with the train they're all good in their own right I don't really have a favorite but if I did I'd say link to a past ocarina of Time and Majora's mask definitely top tiers breathe of the wild totk are special in there own way
I feel like the twilight princess fans are more emos than the majora's mask fans. TP was released right around the height of emo music and culture

I imagine a lot of it comes down to your experience with the game and other outside factors, like who you played it with, where you were in life.
I've been playing Zelda ever since the first one was released in 1986. I have memories with my dad, my siblings, my wife, and my kid. Each from different Zelda games. Because of that I have many favorites. I just love the series.
I’m somewhere between OOT and ALTTP. Surprised there was no A link between worlds. It was the last Zelda I enjoyed playing.
My first LoZ was OoT and i grew to love that game. I didn't play my MM properly for a bit but when i did, i held it in equal esteem. Played it 4 times over and got the Fierce Diety mask on that 4th playthrough.
I currently play TotK, using my FD set so you can see the impact. Lol
Majoras Mask is my favorite but its weird how you clumped all handhelds together with Mish through Tracks.
Those are so massively different they dont deserve the same spot.
Minish is my favorite 2D.
And i liked Tracks over Phantom.

Not a millennial but my first Zelda game was OOT because there was a OOT/MQ and WW two-disc for GameCube. Played MM afterwards and that stuck as my favourite ever since
You're wrong. I'm not a Beatles fan nor a Millennial. Twilight Princess I saw more of it as Ocarina of Time. These are my top three that I hold dearly to my heart and still play to this day. Oh, and I've played Zelda one when it first came out.
My favorite Zelda game is oot, tp, ss, botw, and totk. My first Zelda game was a link to the past and I enjoyed it for what it was, but I loved every Zelda game I have ever played cause they were all great in their own respective way.
