My daughter has this bike and I got to try it on Seattle hills. It’s a great bike. I loved it. My daughter uses it for multimodal commutes and it could pretty compactly to go on the bus or train.

I wouldn't buy a bike that depends on a phone and an App for its functionality. I've seen too many apps get abandoned, that won't work when a new OS comes out. Bikes shouldn't be disposable, they should last and work for many many years.

Good point and I should clarify.....You don't 'NEED' a phone and app to use the bike even with pedal assist. You can run the entire bike off the display itself without ever touching your phone or app. In-fact, since I filmed this, they have already changed the programming to where you can now access the auto-shifting directly on the display just by holding the '+' button on the control pad and that will activate e-shifting. You can still fine tune through the app, but its not needed to access any features or ride the bike with full access. Hope that helps! -Mike

I fast forwarded to see if you folded it and put it in a vehicle. Couldn’t find that your review did this basic thing. How could you do a review on a folding bike without reviewing its convenience folding, putting in a vehicle, then unfolding?

Are you sure the folding option is only for vehicles?

He showed folding then unfolding it. What more do you need to know? Carry it and put it in the trunk, then remove it from the trunk? It's 66 lb. People come in different strengths. Figure out if the bike is too heavy for you.

I don't have a car (or trunk), I ride my bike to work and own a truck. -Mike
