first I thought that guy sounds like mordian... is he really copiing him that hard? And than at 11:28: "... my brother Tim aka Moridan Glory ..." You two guys are just amazing! cheers to the parents :P very nice report and were there no heavy armoured lists? Just did a Soviet list with 800pt in armour and I'm very excited how that will work out xD
@@scholaprogenium7276 Brother, Last Weekend I faced Hungarians... Check their national traits and their CAV. You might like what you see. They can also bring German MMGs!
18:21 Love the American HORDE! 20:00 I would run 12 US Infantry and outflank the Enemy! Modern Communication + Full Strength! 21:00 RECCE HELLCATS! 23:39 Congrats JP!!!!
Hordes seemed to be the order of the day, the american rifle spam brings a lot of accurate dice! Man I've got a new US army on the build at the moment and I've got to add some hellcats to it, I'm in love! Haha
That's very true, luckily neither of the lads I faced with light mortars had FOs! Reg light mortars are certainly cheap enough to spam but at the moment the way I see it, autocannons are so good now I'd rather take my 1" templates in direct fire units! 😂
👻Great video, Thanks for the shout out Jonny, It was a great day of bolt action with a really good turn out glad you enjoyed it, but you seem to be missing the part where the German double Tiger 1 list came 3rd tho 😉
I played Italians in this event, the best strategy if you cannot field a medium tank, is to simply ignore tanks. Lots of infantry and support does well too. Remember, bersaglieri can get panzerfausts too
Your brother's tanks aren't Valentines, they're Matilda IIs (same stat in BA). The funny little recce tank is a Panzer II Luchs. The American transport is a M3 halftrack - only one of the most ubiquitous vehicles of WW2. The Hungarians are festooned with Croatian insignia and flags! No T-26s or BT7s there.
Thanks for taking the time to fill in the blanks, ah the Panzer luchs, for some reason it never sticks on my memory! Yeah I was in croatia this summer and the flag is everywhere, Luke was actually running them as Italians, not hungarians, my mistake!
@@scholaprogenium7276 they played well i wish i had of been more agressive with them, but first games of V3 i was being over protective, you should try it out, i found the teams to be a bit fragile though so i have ammended my list replacing the heavy weapons platoons with an armoured platoon of 2 recce chaffee's, and added a medic to each of the rifle platoons, down to 14 OD, so less kill points to give away, :)
How did you guys play units that weren't in the initial rulebook? Points may have changed since V2 for those units. btw I think you mean shirkers not schurzen haha
Haha chapter 4 of the stug life field manual states if lacking sufficient steel plates, shirkers may be used as schurzen! 🤣 Jokes aside I'm not sure which units you are referring to regarding those not included in the big book, unless you mean the minor nations pdf, which was out on release day.

Regular light mortars can still hide behind scenic items if you have a FO spotting for them.... makes them a little less vulnerable.

the one little recce tank of the Germans should be a Panzer II "Luchs" (Lynx).
