This may be the cutest fictional baby I’ve ever seen, which makes the song even more heartbreaking! Odysseus is so tired at the start of the song, wrestling with himself under the weight of 10 years of war. The dream/memory of Penelope and Telemachus whisping away on the wind, and then Ody staring at his helmet while he steels himself to complete his horrid task! Eurylochus closing his eyes because he knows what must happen but he doesn’t want to see it, while Polites watches, wishing for another outcome and practically seeing the emotional scars this will leave on his dear friend, captain, and king as they form in this moment. Absolutely gorgeous-bravo!

You did a really good job on this! The despair Odysseus is feeling throughout the whole song is very evident in his facial expressions and posture. I really love the shot where he looks at his hand and you can see Astyanax's tiny hands moving in the background. Also the bit where Eurylochus, Polites, and the others are watching as he drops the Astyanax is another favorite of mine.
