With all due respect Miftah sir, I disagree with your assessment that elite of our country wants it to do better and the issue is discretion vs rules. After 76 years, we would not have been ended up where we are now. I strongly believe that the elite of our country wants it to do better only to extend it benefits them. There is a clear lack of intent in the elite to make Pakistan a great nation because that require empowerment of ordinary Pakistani which the elite sees as a threat to their ‘reign’.
I disagree with him as well that ' everyone loves their country so there's no doubt they want to see betterment in Pakistan ' .
I don't see ' everyone loving Pakistan ' from every bureaucrate, from every politicians , and from every member of awam...sorry this notion is wrong that all of them love Pakistan. It's not true from awam to everyone there are very few who genuinely love Pakistan, others love their own selves and their own interests.
And I also Disagree with popular narratives that's been fed to us by so called influencers that elite solely are responsible for where this country is, that's again not true. Awam's behaviour is actually reflected in elites behaviour...our awam aren't nationalistic enough, sincere enough then we see elite having the same mindset.
Quran also says the same ' when qaum collectively changes the bigger change comes ' ..

Remember Hazrat Ali’s saying A wise enemy is better than a foolish friend. The military ruled Pakistan directly for 35 years under the self delusion that they know best. We have lost half the country and now the remaining half is going bankrupt
- Pak Fauj needs get rid of hybrid system and fully control the country and take the responsibility themselves.
- No need for written constitution. Many of our enemies are doing better without a constitution.
- Army has to bring it's man as a President of Pakistan ONLY and end the Party system based on current general electoral process. No more millions of dollars of waste.
- "A common man should have right to vote" is a Flawed idea... 100 fools can't be compared to 1 intellectual. Only known good people of society should have right to vote. (you know who you are).
Now all this is something that only the Army of Pakistan has to and can do. This is the only problem I have with Pak Army. Otherwise they are doing brilliant in there part mashaAllah!

Its good to talk and debate how to run the country and its good to have hope for the better pakistan but unfortunately its been 75 years and see where we stand and and where are we heading ! So i think for now these discussions are totally waste of time but i hope for better pakistan .
First 35 years weren't that bad despite instability. Let's not mention 75 years as a whole. It's only after 2007 or mid 2000s the situation got really really bad.
