I repent for being angry at my family for thinking that they're utterly useless since they can't help me with anything in life...they still have have value as human beings. Lord, help me believe that in my heart.
Me too 😢🙏🏽🙏🏽
Halleluja! Repentance is step 1, the next step is forgiveness. I know this can be very hard to do, but I really want to encourage you to do it.
A few years ago I forgave someone who did something really really bad to me.
A few hours later God spoke to me so clear the words "I'm so proud of you".
I could not stop crying for a few hours after that. I still get goosebumps when I think of it.
Me too. Oh how much have I blamed them and treated them as if they no nothing. 😟 all this time I was devaluing them :(
😂😂😂
If they can not give anything to you. Maybe you have to give them.
"God's wisdom invites us to honor the image of God in every person that we meet." ❤❤
I would put that God invite us to have a godly heart. "Image of God" are for those who are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. The sinner is the image of Adam, corrupted and spiritually dead. Since the fall of humanity in Genesis 3.
@@davipenhaAdam was made in the image of God.
Lord cleanse my heart soul mind and body and help me control my anger and worldly desires. Thank you Lord for this video amen ❤
God bless you, dear brother/sister. Seek the Lord first in all things, no matter what it is, and He will educate you, and send His children to you to help you on your path. :)
Amen
You guys!!!! This is genius level!!! To be able to visually animate The Word of God in such a brilliant understandable way. It’s visual poetry. I’m only 3 mins in. Oh my when the little man lusts after the woman and turns her into a literal object!? And He gets the revelation that her body and soul is more than just something for him to use, like an object… That was so powerful! You guys at the Bible Project are so amazing!
I also loved how you visually showed the marriage covent as a string the man was still tethered to even though the wife he discarded was nowhere close to him. It showed that God was wanting men when they choose a wife to be diligent and sure, not just because she was someone beautiful they wanted to sleep with and then eventually move on with. Again God doesn’t want us to think of people as objects, objects you replace and upgrade when you see a new model. God wants us to look at the soul of the human we are choosing to connect with and make sure it’s one that we want to team up with for life. We both get to choose, but we must choose wisely, or just be single. When you just settle because you don’t want to be alone, you’ll want a divorce because the grass will always seem greener somewhere else.
I am just geeking out. I love how the animator Josh said he made the choice of the widow having an inner world and and outer world. So deep because we are spiritual being having a physical experience. I think back to scripture where it says but Jesus didn’t trust the men because He could see their hearts. How people think they present themselves one way but are another way, sometimes you can overtly see it, and sometimes you can’t see the evil hidden in their thoughts. But God knows our thoughts and our hearts. So someone who can present themselves as a frail little old lady doesn’t fool God because He can see how big the contempt, anger, wrath and lack of value she has for others. Jesus sees past the mask. Our outer shell. These fleshly bodies are just rentals to contain our spirits. ✨✨✨
Thanks for taking the time to share how you've been impacted by this episode. We are grateful for your encouragement and kind words. We are so happy that we can be a resource for you!
@@bibleproject I'm a new Bible animator, any advice?
Reader: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May his face shine upon you and be gracious to you
May the Lord turn His face toward you, and give you peace 🕊️
my pastor at my previous church would say this at the end of every service. I think more churches should end their services with that blessing
Amen 🙏🏻 May it be so for you as well in Jesus' Precious Name 🙏🏻
Amen, and to everyone else as well
@Brando550 in my church, the pastor always ends the service with the apostolic blessing from 2 Corinthians 13:13:
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
I think this is a good alternative to the priestly blessing (may the Lord bless you...), of Numbers 6:22-27.
Jesus God please forgive me for my anger and cursing thoughts im guilty and im sorry i have come to this and i ask for forgiveness in you’re name Jesus Christ Amen Amen
Hey man, can you pray for me? I'm going through the same thing. I really need God's help.
The Kingdom of God is about " family " - where God, mankind and angels live as a family in love and harmony ✨
The answer is "yes". Anger, however justified, should not be cultivated as it begets a cycle of violence. Seek justice and righteousness. Be slow to anger and quick to forgive. Love God and treat others as you wish to be treated.
I love this and how you used the word cultivated. Thank you very much. It helped me to refocue and reimagined a angst that I had justified in a way that is more fruitful to me and everyone else around me. Godspeed to you and your family.
Does valuing everyone include blacks, gays, trans, Muslims, Jews, indigenous tribes, Mexicans??
Please be explicit.
Yes. Valuing everyone as they're all made in Gods image
@@ignacio1088 Yes. Yes, it does. But it's a very broad group you made here. Ethnicity is one thing. People that dont look like one another and come from different places. No reason to even discuss. But when you bring sexual immorality into the discussion, love and acceptance are two different things. Care for people, be kind to people, be loving to people, to ALL people, but sometimes, the most loving, and kind, thing to do is telling someone that: Though you love them and are there for whatever care they need, and will treat them with dignity, the ways in wich they violate the will of God will not lead to ultimate satisfaction, or to eternal life, but the same wrath of God that lies in the fornicator, the liar, the one that looks to lust, and all us when we were in our sins, and all of humanity without Christ, lies on them, because of their immorality. But God has His arms stretched and is mighty to save, come as you are, and expect to be changed by the spirit.
I have no idea when we decided, as a culture, that love means acceptance of behaviour that leads to a bad conclusion. In conclusion, love is not spiteful, but it can be stern in it's kindness.
@@ignacio1088 I can tell something is troubled in your heart by you asking this. May God soften it. But, to answer your question. Yes. All humans regardless of race, ethnicity, creed, or sexual preference are worthy of love and respect for they to are made in the image of God.
Lifelong atheist with no plans on changing that…. but I enjoy these videos and they’ve helped me over the years develop a healthier relationships with Christians in my life and the Christian faith in general. I wish more of the popular dialogue on faith focused on public good in the way this channel does, thank you
I am curious as to how the conversation will go when your time in this life comes to an end and you die. When you are standing in front of Christ saying, “I don’t believe you exist”, I wonder what the reply will be.
I appreciate your openness to the subject, and I'm glad this has led to something beautiful in your life. 😊
Hey. Just passing by to say, God's love is really not a metaphor. And He really has his arm extended to you. I was an atheist also, learning to trust in the clear, visible, empirical and controlable. But the moment you give up on your own capability, is when the Savior comes. Eternity is a long time. Please, think about this with utmost importance. Not the thing you would like to discover being worng about when it's too late.
Thank you for your honesty. You will be in my prayers 😊 I am asking God to continue to reveal Himself to you and loving you to Himself ❤
How do you know you don’t like sweet potatoes? You have to try them before you can say if you like them or don’t.
Similar with God, He says “Taste and see”!

This is by far the most beautiful episode up to now!
Oh, that we could just learn to live this way, and treat everyone as the image of God! Lord, have mercy on us. Teach us to live this way. May your kingdom come.

I’m going through the hardest season of my life, and I can’t stop being so angry. I’m angry with myself, my kids, God, I’m angry. It’s rotting me from the inside. I don’t even recognize myself anymore. I pray to Jesus and beg and scream for change. I’m just lost. Idk what to do anymore.
I hope that one day, the current generations will utilize your videos to educate future generations, transcending all doctrines, in combating hyperreligiosity, gaining a deeper comprehension of the Bible, its diverse themes, and its iconic characters. Moreover, your videos will shed light on God's plan, fulfilled through Jesus, Christians, and all individuals of goodwill. Thank you for instilling both inspiration and knowledge within us.💗
The thing is that Jesus brought forth these ideas earlier, in a time and place where the language and culture would have been easily understood. He also added real-life examples, in his own walk through his life, yet we still continued with the same hearts of stone. It takes the transformation brought about by the Holy Spirit to soften our hearts, and to make us truly able to 'hear and do'. We should continue to pray that the Holy Spirit will guide us in our daily lives.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! It's great to hear our resources are impacting you in such a meaningful way. We appreciate you and your encouragement.

I sure hope not, your distorting Gods word with a progressive ideology!
I received a dream about this after asking God to give me new eyes to see these sins. Immediately got uncontrollably tired, fell asleep, and God showed me through an instructing warning type of terrifying dream. When I woke up He made me know that I know that I know it was from Him and He showed me through my already open Bible as soon as I woke up. It was open right to these sins in Mathew during His sermon on the mount.
Amazing
I love the fact that this video went out how Jesus viewed women as people instead of objects and how he made men aware of their actions to do better and not view women as objects and to treat them as equals.
Love your Wives. Because how can you love an Object.

May we repent of our sins and trust God's wisdom
To say that you won’t think sexual thoughts about another person (other than your spouse) or not be angry with someone in any way makes the concept of repentance moot-as is the case with everyone else. We will always be murderers and adulterers to God.
@@rickybobby9797its about cultivating sin in our hearts, why not pray to God about this subject?
@@rickybobby9797 Just wanted to say that God's love is greater than any sin of the world. Jesus bore the consequences of all our sins and wants us to have a genuine heart of repentance. While we are always going to fall short of God's glory, Jesus wants us to turn from sin every time and to turn to Him and trust His ways. There is a difference between trying (at the very least) to turn from sin and deliberately sin which causes us to separate from God. Father, I pray that we continuously learn to submit to You, help us overcome every temptation, in Jesus' name, Amen.

I thought this video was well done. Jesus was teaching us that outward actions are manifestations of what's going on inwardly. If we take care of the inward issues of hate, lust, & objectifying others, then it will never turn into the outward actions of murder, adultery, & divorcing for the wrong reason.

Very well done!
I understand lust and murder, but I can’t feel anger? What am I allowed to feel other than sadness 💀 I wanna be on fire for God but sometimes I feel like I can’t be human, I feel like I have to be perfect, otherwise I’m in a perpetual cycle of struggle and sin and I have to constantly keep repenting
You can be angry, you know; it's an emotion, it's a human thing. The problem is you cannot act on your anger. For example, if you have kids who are sometimes disobedient, you can be angry because of it, and that's totally normal, but you cannot act on it or sin. Advice: when you get angry, throw your anger/frustrations on God. I hope it helped.
Think of it like this, what reason do you have to be mad? Are you not living rent free in this world by the grace of God? Did God not have to kill how own son for the things you have done with pleasure? You have no reason to b mad, if there is someone that can any wrath, it is God, you already know what he wants from you yet every single time you sin it’s like spitting on his face and saying that you are better that him. Every time you look at someone with anger, I want you to think what Jesus would have seen in that person when dying on that Cross. God Bless🙏
Emotions are real, God does not even deny that. But He gives us instructions how to do it right.😊
These are some good advice here 👌 I have nothing else to say but take the encouragements. God bless.
Ephesians 4:6Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down on your wrath......We can get angry, originally anger was given as an way to react toward injustices, violence, anything that promotes the destruction of another human being ...but our anger has been tainted because of sin, so now anger is a reaction to something deeper in your heart, a lot of times because of pride, or maybe previous wounds, you have to know why you react with anger, so that you can know yourself if pride then staying quiet and forgiving is humbling yet a virtue that grows in the heart that pleases God vs growing anger bitterness resentment. Seek God and ask Him what is my root of anger? and He is faithful n happy to show you so that you may grow n prosper in Him! Don't get condemn, the fact that you feel guilty is a good thing it reminds you you cannot do it alone n should bring you to God and seek His help and He'll help you through it! Stay encouraged, keep seeking Him, God loves you! ❤
That was a stunning visual representation of Jesus' words. Great job!!
Having on board illustrators with such a clear understanding of Christianity is such a perfect recipe. I hope one day you are able to create a full interactive commentary on holy scripture, could be so useful to kids!
Thanks Bible Project team! That is amazing to realize that every second of animation requires a LOT of drawings!! Thank you for all you do to help us all understand the Bible better and know, follow and love Jesus better ❤🎉

Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.
Jesus was angry when he walked in His temple...He flipped the moneychangers table! His house is a house of prayer!!!! AMEN!!
We can trust Jesus with being angry where we cannot trust ourselves.
The "Be angry but don't sin, don't let the sun go down on your anger" is Paul exact quoting Psalm 4:4 in the Greek translation .
""When you are disturbed, do not sin ponder it on your beds, and be silent" NRSV. From the Hebrew which has no command to be angry
Yup, people are getting it wrong. We need the spirit of Christ to understand that message.
Jesus was exposing the idea of self righteous because the pharisees were all about keeping the law. So it broke them to hear Jesus even raising the standard. That was to expose the truth of needing a savior than a new set of rules to follow.
Simply put, if indeed anyone would then go ahead and implement the wisdom and law that Jesus ascribed to, then we wouldn't need a Savior.
The call is to the fullness of Christ in us and coming to the full knowledge of God, as that's his Desire.
Once we've learnt to accept the Christ, and the gift of righteousness- we will effortlessly find Joy in living right. For then we will be doing it because we are already justified[New identity], not trying to get justified.
@@Liminalplace1We can also trust ourselves to be angry and NOT sin. With the help of the Holy Sprit. I get angry with my children with their disobedience but that anger doesn't cause me to sin. I get angry with seeing "pride" parades but that anger doesn't cause me to sin. Along with many other sinful things I see.
