Wow bro that machine in that beautiful setting is breathtaking! The Skyfall road is iconic to say the least. Glad the crash was only the drone...Tell Yorkie to learn to fly that thing! LOL
@@MrJWWLove your videos. You guys got me into cars and are one of the reasons I bought my first sports car. Just so you guys know, Canada Goose tortures the animals they capture for fur and down. There are other companies like Patagonia that don’t torture animals, consider them when you buy your next down jacket.
I have loved this channel for what feels like forever. The behind the scenes is incredible showing how much effort you put in to create great content…. We need this more than ever sir please keep it coming! Love it ❤
Can we get more content like this after a first drive video? Love seeing how you get some of these shots and the fun you have, or sometimes not so much fun, outside the vehicle as much as you do inside.
If I had the money for one, I’d go for a Td5 interior dash. I was never a fan of the tdci dash. The last 90 I had, had been out the garage from being spray painted for about a week and I spun it down the brae into Milnathort facing where I had just come from in the ditch leaning over at around 40 degrees. No grip at all on the road. It was strangely nice after getting the first scratch on it, then I did’t have to worry again so much. I remember hearing the first screech of the branch on a narrow road rubbing along its paintwork after leaving a shoot.
Always on point with the cinema-photography just constantly looking forward to the next instalment you have to share James. Absolutely loving Thor and what is to come with it. Own a 90 for the last 20yrs and inspire for more adventures and film it. Thank you for sharing such wonderful content!
Such a sense of humanity, of life, my hat is off to you for these extra touches you and your crew make to produce this content. You are appreciated, and the backup drone was a nice surprise. btw- you might want to endeavor to manufacture your own gadget/gear as you quipped earlier. You seem to be doing it productively with everything else! Cheers.
the moment that the drone dropped down...laughed out very very loud man...!!!!!!!hahaahahahahahahahahahhaahahhaahah That was something we are not used to from your channel...hahahahahahahahahahahah Absolutely GREAT content James!!!
Great content as usual love how positive you are and love your collaborations with dde you guys are so well matched ps I work at the Range Rover plant great to see some old school Land Rover 😎👍
Gotta give credit to Yorkie. He clearly is an absolute professional and amazing videographer and cameraman. You two are a wicked duo. Would love to see more and more of the two of you on camera together
Love your videos in the Highlands, we go up there often and recognise many of the roads. Love it there, one of my favourite places. Hope you have your DJI Refresh...
Any self respecting defender thief will carry a steering wheel on the same quick release boss, putting that on a defender is really common, what you also need is the locking spiny boss cover that stops anything being put on the boss to steer with.
Hey James I'm now seeing this video oh my god it's so refreshing I usually love your videos but I felt the content had plateaued and it became like everyone else but looking at this looking at store looking at the backdrop looking at the you do the unedited version nsn's kind of takes me back to your older videos where it was just blogs
Being a Green laners my self seeing this content is awesome defo wanna go do that area at some point I travel the A82 in my HGV but would love to go adventuring in my lifted Ford ranger in that area
If you're ever interested in taking "Thor" across the pond for some truly exceptional scenery and off road experiences, may I suggest a trip through the "British Columbia and Alberta Rockies" especially "Lake Louise" in "Banff National Park"...Just take a look on the web, you'll see what I mean...Your new ride "Thor" is truly one of the nicest Land Rovers on the planet. Congrats...😉👍
Wasn’t too keen on Thor when I first saw it, but in that environment with a bit of mud up the sides it looks spectacular. No defender should be clean and shiny.
James bring Thor to Yellowstone, Montana and Wyoming to Vail Colorado. Visit the Rockies with her you wouldn’t regret it! Ok, last time I’ll bug you with this suggestion. Either way enjoy the off road.
Sympathise on the drone crash. Easily done. Drone pilots know about crashing its part of deal with flying them but kudos for having a backup. From a commerical drone pilot you are better off getting an FPV drone that can take a beating with a Hero 11 on when involving close flying of trees it to nail that sort of shot. That way if you crash you are back up with nothing more than a change of props and not a Mavic in a million pieces. Highly recommend the guys over at Catalyst Machine Works if you wanted to look further into it.

💯
The Defenders used at 007 movies are just next level! Wished we saw more of those on the roads.
Perfect car for a road trip like that
The best ‘car’ channel on The Tube! Simple.
stunning scenery and that land rover is perfect
this video has really its special soul - > car, nature, music ... perfect

Dope video, i am so glad im not the only who is always crashing a drone. The other drone just flew off and couldn't find it again
Wonderful photography. Is that REALLY with a phone.
Great film. Thank you.❤
Just revisiting your Beast of a Defender.
Mate, stunning scenery, stunning Defender.
One of my favourite places in the world. Cheers
Thanks buddy!
keep the behind the scenes coming !! 👍
The Highlands make the Peak District look like mole hills.
Beautiful location mate 👌
Perfect car for a road trip like that 💪
Love your videos in the Highlands, we go up there often and recognise many of the roads. Love it there, one of my favourite places. Hope you have your DJI Refresh...
What I'd class as a propper 4x4 the defender imo 👍
Nice video
Thor looks great and fun
So beautiful there
7:07 Close to tears! :0(
I swear I recognise that forest track from Dirt Rally 😂 such a beautiful place and great content as always 👍👍
Loving it!!!! And I'm not a Landy fan
FOR a moment I was thinking you crashed the car 😂/ you got me 😅
These behind the scenes vlogs are nice.
Great to hear thanks, more to come!
Who manufactures the wheels...is there a web link?
"I don't have a"
**takes steering wheel off**
"that's my lock, good luck stealing that" 😂
😂👍🏻

Is that a trade plate in the rear window?!
Take it to Norway with Landrover Drive.
Epic drive and locations...
It's a shame you couldn't play The Bond Soundtrack over it.
Thank you.
It really is! 😅👍🏻
What is the song from 8:51 to 9:20?
Wow
"Pea and ham soup stop" reminds me on mr. bean who took minis steering wheel with him :)
now we know why it was so short... it came out stunning either way. Need to carry a backup from now on i guess
Your camera man needs to get Brandon Li smallrig phone frame. Has button one side and cold shoe the other.
Your welcome
Rich
;o )
No one needs an excuse to build a cool truck, but let's be honest - a Camry could handle those roads.
Odd question but what jacket are you wearing , I love it lol
I smashed my Mavic into some trees a few months back, luckily I got away with it! Expensive hobby alongside being a petrol head!
I personally don’t like Land Rovers. But what you’ve got there is quite exceptional. Well done everyone involved. ❤
Like I said when you revealed it I want that vehicle but in left hand drive lol
Yolo.
Call it Behind the scenes rather than what really happened. Makes it sound like you were misleading or concealing something in the main video.
You need to bring Thor to the Canadian Rockies! Fits right in
"Freedom!!!!!!"
William Wallace
How about a give away as its the New Year! Can I have your jacket please Mr JW I dare Ya 🙂🙏
Risking it all for the shoot
Gotta full send I guess?

That’s why you have backup equipment…
I also have to say, amazing videography
what set up was that for recording
Ohh noo....it looks like a dead crab !

🏌🏼♂️👏🇧🇷
What drone is that? I'm looking at buying one soon.
The one we crashed or the new one?
Either.
What's going on with the leather trim around the top of the dials? Looks really messy
I feel his pain with the drone accident. Sent to DJI in Belgium and 2 weeks later and £200 or so it will be good as new.
It's massively cool, but I dunno .... billet windshield washer jets just seem to be a bit much.
first crash... wasn't wrong. but phew

It’s all part of the gig 😅🤷🏻♂️
Perfect venue....now tell the truth James....did you drive it the 7-8 hours up there, or have it transported to the area? 😉
