I just bought the right sided one. I had the lefty, but all the weight is on the waste side. Checking cuts with a square i found they'd be more accurate with the right handed saw.
Both left and right hand circular satw should be in everyone's tool box. Both of them are the same,no difference except the blades,left handed circular saw blades are hard to get.

Depends which side of the table you're standing on You would want the weight of the motor to be on the non waste side
