that's is not always true, because sometimes when you change your job is not for the leader but because of the salary
I don't think that's the concept he is applying to. I believe he is talking of people who get the salary, the title, but lack being valued as a person.
Nowadays, the standard of the so-called leader is getting lower than the past. Some of them who are calling they have the leadership skills despite the fact that all the elements they are showing was just an ordinary manager without vision and all the way to their selfishness.
With all due respect, is this just a rip off of Craig Groeschel's talk "Becoming a Leader People Love to Follow" from 3 years ago? Cause this feels like you took his notes beat for beat
Listen to his stuff from longer than 3 years ago. John has written over 130 books. I would argue that this his style and others borrow from him. Just my opinion though.

Of course other wonderful leaders have grown by JCMaxwells amazing personal spiritual magnificent work which God has opened up for Him so beautifully....HE is using John to reach out and build leaders on a global scale. I will listen. But, the one thing that seems to be consistent about John Maxwell is that he is not shy about giving credit to other people. I have heard snipets of this talk in various other talks of his. I'm inclined to believe this is more original JM work.
