In the 90s I was out of work and had $2.80 and after church I was going to the store to buy bread and jelly. There was a guy sitting 2 rows in front of me and he was going to a mission trip to Mexico and was raising money. The Lord told me to give him the $2.80 . I'm thinking I'm 40 years old and it's embarrassing to give that little. So I said " God if this is You, have him walk by me" . Well the guy got up and went to the bathroom which was behind me ‼️ So I got up and waited next to the bathroom and gave him the $2.80 . After service, the guy's mom , who was sitting in the front row on the opposite side of the church, came up to me and said the Lord told me to give you this, handing me $80 ‼️ The following year ( I had no attention on doing) I went on a mission trip to Mexico and the only thing I paid for was my passport ‼️
