Why do they have to burn these weeds on the beach. They can thrush them in machines and make compost for the plants. Sea weed is rich in nutrients
The problem is the availability of the machines
@@sue3300 The machines are basic and available just the same machines that rural folk use to thrush fodder for their cows. It does not have to be a high tech machine. A jua kali artisan can make one.

Hello, I just discovered your channel with the video of the road trip from Nairobi to Rusinga and I love it! Your channel is awesome and you are so fun, your videos are awesome. You make me so excited to go to Kenya. I'm going there this summer, but I have a question. Which bus did you take from Nairobi to Rusinga, how much did it cost, and did you have to book it in advance? With my friends we went to the island of Rusinga for a humanitarian mission for 3 weeks and it's hard to find transport on the internet from France where we live!

Amazing discoveries. I always knew about shela but you only see the houses and thought that its only people who own those houses lived there. Never knew there was a primary school, with a field and some locals living there. Shela always looked like a sand island with just houses/villas for those who can afford. But you took us through the back and that was interesting to see. Also you took us to rose gitau island if i am saying it correctly.

Wow gorgeous shots from the Shela dunes. I walked there for half an hour and no footprints in the sand except for our own. It's one of Mother Earth's marvels.
Also we were on a beach on Manda Island and we were the only two people for hours. Had some fresh catch of the day on a fisherman's boat. Samaki wa kuchoma. The best I've ever had.
Definitely my favourite spots on Earth.
