My Doberman Rex who has since passed was around 32 inches tall and 120 pounds. Someone tried breaking into our house through the window one night and Rex busted through the front door breaking the locks. No idea what happened to the person but city animal control “who knew Rex” found him sleeping under a tree the following day and brought him home.
Was he mixed with cane or a Rottweiler?
@@Xydozoom201 both his parents were Dobermans. But his mom was large like he was. Not sure if there was some kind of mix breeding before her.

I have a 3-month-old female Doberman Pinscher mix Cane Corso mother was a red Doberman father was a black Cane Corso beautiful dog she's red like the mom solid and she is a great dog cute as hell

Also I took the online quiz several times and even when I changed a few details I kept getting the Staffy. Unfortunately I don't like staffys and can't have a heavy drooling dog. So as you suggested I guess its a Doberman for me! Thanks Will!

You can't go wrong with either one of these breeds! I own a Cane Corso and I cant say enough how great of a guard dog and family dog he is. The only downfall of a Cane Corso is they have really bad separation anxiety and need a lot of exercise.
Doberman need more exercise.. Take it from someone who has two male dobermen and 1 female cane corso...
@@zerogtoxik6020 well im a boxer so witch dog would be more willing to run a mile with me? I always wanted a doberman because they are loyal and i love their look with chopped ears and when they have spiked collars. And i want a backyard gaurd dog who will make sure nobody but me enters.

Both great breeds. I own a Cane Corso though.
The European doberman is much larger up to 120lbs of muscle, with different bone structure and is unbelievably beautiful but the smaller American Doberman is shown here.
I like both the firts one that i like was the cane corso but i lern more and more abaut the breed it was not my breed yet i was not ready so thats wya i pick the doberman

The cane corso is without doubt one of the best guard dogs in the world. He is fast enough, very flexible, and more powerful than a Rott, Argentine Mastiff or Doberman. The cane corso can undoubtedly neutralize a young man in full health, the weight over 60 kg for the male and the power of his jaw leaves no chance.

I've seen some quite small staffies, don't know if they would be able to take someone down, but I've seen some that even not as big as a dobbie of cooourse they would definitely tear a guy apart in minutes

I have a serious question about the Doberman. It seems that the Doberman and the Rottweiler are very close in a lot of ways with very little differences other than the obvious slim vs thick body structure. With mr. Doberman having access to rottweilers obviously being a part of his breeding program to create the Doberman, why did he not just simply use the Rottweiler for his protection dog? What exactly is it about the Doberman that is perfected over the Rottweiler to give credence for that much work put into creating the Doberman? I know there are slight differences, but what is it that stands Head and Shoulders over the Rottweiler that screams Success!? 🤔
I would say the doberman is more a one person dog. They bond very well to the person who trains them not to mention the superior athleticism of the doberman.
Rottweilers are great and it would depend on your own energy levels and possibly climate to which one you would get. Say you live in a hot country I would go the doberman over the rotty provided your a very active person
A Rottweiler would be more stubborn and less light on it’s feet.
Doberman is a completely different dog to a Rottweiler. More intelligent, agile, intense and protective

Dobermans will out smart out work and out class the corso 100 times out of a 100 time corsos are good property and land guards but that's as far as it goes I'm afraid you want professionalism watch German shepherds Mals and dobermanns train they are a different class they can out smart men.
Let's get the main thing straight a cane corso is without doubt a good guard dog but certainly isn't as professional as the Doberman. A cane corso maybe stronger than the Doberman straight off but the corse lacks stamina and muscle endurance of the Doberman there actually evidence of this where both breeds play tug of war and the Doberman through its superior intelligence and stamina doesn't just beat the corso but actually pulls it uphill doing the harder work. Please all dogs are lovely but there 3 dogs I would use as professional workers one been the German shepherd two the Belgium Mal and 3 the Doberman. Believe me all of these 3 breeds have been tried and tested service dogs please don't insult them by trying to put mastiff breeds in the same spec.
Ich habe 5 Jahre lang von Baby auf ein Dobermann gehabt hier in Deutschland der Hund war nur anstrengend der hatte Verlassenheit Ängste wollte nur beschäftigt werden wollte aber Meer in Mittelpunkt stehen der hat kein anderen Hunde geduldet Mann könnte mit den Hund nirgendwo hingehen wo anderen Hunden waren es hat echt kein Spaß gemacht
Doberman
European Dobermans are true form of the Doberman. The do not know exactly all the breeds that were used to create the Doberman that Louis Doberman made to this day. European only come in black/rust and red/rust . Our boy is 126 pounds girl is 92pound . It’s a totally different compared to the more common American version.
I don’t think a man made breed with floppy ears is “natural”. A wolf has open ears that stand tall. That’s natural.

When I started my search for a guardian breed, I originally was looking at the Doberman. I decided that I didn't like the idea that there was a good possibility that a doberman that I purchased for 3500 to 4000. was going to drop dead of a heart attack at a young age. The Cane Corso won out for me. Their only downfall is the drool but that is better than hair flying all over the house like you would have with a shepherd type dog.
If ur paying that much it should be coming with health certificates that it’s not got the condition. Have the puppies checked by a vet first.
Good call because now the Dobermans are dying of DCM and no one seems to know why. But it’s hard to find a dog that is more intelligent than a Dobermans.
