Thanks for the video. I installed Veracrypt to encypt the entire aUSB drive, set a password, but then the program told me to format the drive, so that ended up wiping everything out. I will try your method to encrypt a folder within the drive, then put the passwords inside the folder.
I've been using veracrypt for years. I love the fact that you have 3 options for decryption, either password, password and keyfiles, or just keyfiles. I love the keyfiles option, you can use just a random jpg or music file as a password/decryption method, it's something no one would think to use. And it would be absolute hell for someone trying to access you encrypted data if you have thousands of jpgs or music files on your pc. Plus you have the option of storing the keyfile on a flashdrive so then it isn't even on your pc. You also have the option of creating a dummy volume that reads as being the correct volume size but just has random stuff that you can put on it. It's useful if you are ever forced by someone to decrypt your volume, you can decrypt your dummy volume and they will think they are seeing your actual encrypted volume. Quick note of caution if you decide to encrypt an existing drive with data already on it depending on the size of the drive and the encryption method it can take a LONG time. I encrypted my 10TB drive and it took over a week to encrypt it. You can pause the encryption and resume it when you feel like it if you don't want to leave your PC on for an entire week straight, but during the encryption process you won't have access to the drive/volume.
I always watch your videos you have good contents.i have question. is that possible to there is any file do not deleted after formatting pendrive? if possible then it's really helpful for me 😊
I have this problem where System Idle Process is stuck at 99% cpu usage. I’ve tried updating everything, drivers etc. everything. I even downgraded my bios. I restored everything all profiles, power profiles, all cmds, used like sfc and Dism. I couldn’t really get driver verifier to work, that was new to me. So I had to safe mode out of that. I’ve googled system idle process on google, Reddit, nobody knows a fix for me. I even reinstalled windows and still happened. So the. I thought it was a bios thing but I downgraded my bios. So that must’ve reset everything. Gonna do a full clean windows again.
Do you use any of these devices? let me know down below.

I have been using VeraCrypt for nearly a year. I have several external SSDs and USBs all encrypted.
Nice, good security
Btitec09!!!! You are a bright spark, wishing you the best for 23.
If you've bought a SanDisk USB Flash Drive, you could just use the (usually) supplied SanDiskSecureAccess instead of VeraCrypt.
Yes, I use Sandisk seems pretty good.
You can use any software you like.
I just password protect my USB's.....That's good enough for the James Bond in me.
As always great mate! Cheers and jolly safe holidays!
Need more VeraCrypt Videos ...................
what do you want to see.
Awesome material, have a great new week my friend!
You too mate

You can't format a drive without having its data deleted, as the entire file system has to be rewritten to the drive.
Great tutorial but how to hide Veracypt folder and shortcut ? Please make another tutorial encrypt the whole flash drive...
see what I can do

what about encrypting a folder to upload to a cloud service?
Awesome, thank you 👍
Has it also backdoor by nsa how they forcing it on all companies producing this kind of soft ?
God one Brian I just wish my brother had done something like this before he locked himself out of his laptop!
Thank you!
You're welcome
Great Video🎉
veracrypt i love you !
Is there any way i can gain access from an anroid smartphone?
Sandisk USB , seems fine
Yes, should be fine
encrypt is pretty hopeless, i end up losing everything instead - and the help to unecrypt old data is also "hopeless"
That is why you backup data with 321 backup and then if you lose drive, you have a backup
Nice Info
Thanks
Cool!
Thanks
good
please tell the outro music name
Its in TH-cam Music
Déjà vu
No, I cover other options in this video, so not the same.
