    I know you’re not from here, but Hernando County is also considered the northernmost part of the Tampa Bay Area, surprised it wasn’t talked about here. Cute & quaint historical downtown of Brooksville, Spring Hill, Hernando Beach, beautiful Weeki Wachee with the mermaids & crystal clear springs. Deserves a mention.

      Hey Seth, we have mentioned these areas in other videos. You're totally right, they are beautiful and definitely worth a shout out!

    How is the job market in Tampa/Sarasota? I currently work in title but working on a Project Management certificate. I want to move in 2023

      You should definitely look for a job BEFORE you move. I think title jobs will not be too hard to find but may be commission based

    Can you talk about the flood areas? I can see that there are many lakes in that area.

    Thinking about renting a house, as a realtor, do you think it would be worth it?

      That really depends on your situation. Some people can actually save money with buying. If you’d like to reach out via email my team and I would love to help you run numbers and see what the best fit for you would be! We aren’t trying to sell you on anything, this opinion is just based on the fact that buying is a good investment in this market and a mortgage is usually cheaper per month than rent. If you’d like to reach out our email is info@livingintampafl.com

    I’m looking to move to Wesley chapel from Chicago with my partner and child. We are definitely looking to rent a home for the first year to get a feel for the area. How’s the rental scene there?

    Could you please make a video or mention eastern suburbs of Tampa, specifically, Lakeland? It is only 30 minutes away from downtown Tampa. It takes a lot longer (50+ minutes) for commuters to drive down from west Pasco County (Hudson, etc.) into Tampa than from Lakeland. And Lakeland often gets left out and folks are quite ignorant about it and they think it is some suburb or Orlando, which it definitely is not. It is a great city to live in, being also just 30 minutes from the Disney attractions.

      @LivinginTampa  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good point! Technically Lakeland is not considered part of the greater Tampa metro area, however, you are right. It could be a great option for people wanting to be close to equidistant from Orlando and Tampa.

      I believe Lakeland ought to be considered part of greater Tampa if towns like Spring Hill and Hudson (50+ miles from Tampa) are. Lakeland has strong business connections to Tampa (lots of commuters both ways) and even culturally-we root for the Bucs, Rays, etc. The Lakeland/Plant City area along with Winter Haven have a combined population of nearly 200K.
      If more people realized the advantages and benefits of Lakeland, they would consider it part of greater Tampa.
      (Strictly, downtown Orlando is twice as far from Lakeland than downtown Tampa, so it’s not equidistant. But it’s true for the Disney attractions in Kissimmee).
      Thank you for the video.

    This is the area we are interested in. Wesley Chapel is the goal. But some of the houses in WC, say Z'hill. Can you please do a video about Zephyrhills.

    Any of the suburbs that might have sink holes more than others?

    • @LivinginTampa
      @LivinginTampa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Here's an interesting article I found on the quantity of sinkholes per county. Seems like the further north you go with less developed areas, the more sinkholes you tend to have.
      Pasco - 8816
      Hernando - 4147
      Hillsborough - 3325
      Marion - 916
      Pinellas - 851
