Exactly. As a Sixers fan, I wanted him to stay and I knew he would put us over the hump...but I have no shame in admitting that I clowned him for going to Miami and joked that they were going to be a 6/7 seed and lose in the first round. I think if Kawhi shot doesn't go in, Sixers are for sure in the Finals. But I did not think the man would be putting up 30-40 point triple doubles; more like 20, 5 , and 5. I didn't think he would dominate the way that he has been. And damn have I been wrong.

It was just a bad fit overall and it made sense. Jimmy probably feeling disrespected being brought in by Thibs (as GM) to help babysit some yung kids whose favored by the owner anyway. The Philly stint was alright but Elton Brand the GM didn't want him so he overpaid Tobias Harris and Al Horford to lose the first round again with the kids they paid for in Embiid and Simmons who just walks all over the coach (and rightfully so). Jimmy had Miami in his mind all along.

@@weekendthegoat8716 Its the winning mentality. You can't pursue winning if you gon act like the franchises and star players he's left before him. KAT, WIggins, Embiid and SImmons act like its only a matter of time with their talent and age that they will arrive at a winning situation without putting in some effort to evolve. So far those guys only got a taste of relative playoff success with Jimmy Buckets and that is it. Otherwise KAT hasn't hit the playoffs again and Embiid and Simmons gon get sliced up by much better teams in the Eastern playoffs who know how to play around their lack of a perimeter game. Wiggins probably found his dream situation where he doesn't have to pretend to be a number 1 guy but gets paid like one to play with ACTUAL number 1 talents in Steph and Klay.

Iggy didn't get the Warriors to the finals on his first season in Golden State, but he was an important piece on the team. What got the Warriors to the finals was hiring Steve Kerr as coach. All of the sudden, the Warriors had an effective offensive scheme and were really good defensively. Plus the small-ball death lineup worked really well, leading to other teams to try and poorly imitate it (looking at you Rockets).
