@@IrinelPapuc thank you!!. Nice to see your work mate and happy to hear that comment helped to got boost for work. Humble!!!!!!! Rare!!. You will go far mate.
@@HansakaSandamal Absolutely man, helped a lot and I'm truly grateful for it. Sometimes a couple of nice words can mean a ton for some creators. Reminds me of encouraging others as well when I get the opportunity next time. Blessings to you as well mate.
This is really cool I have seen a few projects similar to this, are you planning on making a tutorial out of this? I do not understand the setup for an HDA like this
Thank you very much mate. I am currently preparing everything for selling the HDA, but I am not planing a tutorial at the moment. However if there is enough interest I would do one, although it won't be a quick one I guess :D.
@@IrinelPapucyes pleaseee! I would love to know how it's made. Even a brief overview of the main techniques to achieve something like this would be awesome. How much will the hda cost?
@@francescost7860thank you very much mate. I am focusing right now on making the tool available on Epic Marketplace as well as on pointindex, but after that I will see how I can provide some insights or even a tutorial.
My only question is... When this will be available? I was really thinking in a tool to build containers, and this one looks amazing for what I need. (houdini of course)
Hey man, thank you very much for your interest. I am confident that I can provide a complete tool by the mid of april for both apps. It will be available for Houdini and there will be an Unreal Engine version too.
are you also outputting some scripting from Houdini into Substance Painter to generate automatically all the texture based on their id's, texture sets etc...? hmmm
Actually, all the substance work happened manually. However, the detailed assigning of the textures happens through a UDIM workflow. Essentially, each piece has its own UV island offset and its corresponding texture based on that offset. But I am working currently on a more efficient way of distributing different textures on the same mesh.
Hey mate, thank you very much. Yes I actually plan to sell it as well. Currently I am working on the description and promo material for the Epic Store, but it will be also on pointindex available.
I need to finish some project for clients first and then I will dive right into the assets again. Thank you for your interest mate, direct motivation :).
All up!! Nice!! Realy good work mate.
Thank you so much man. Every comment from you was a real boost.

Nice job! wil you make demo on how you combine the Substance painter/designer into your houdini workflow?
I will wrap up some key points in the near future. Thank you very much.
