Great question Astrid Martini-Facio! I have used the Scoot Boots and Explora Boots in all different kinds of terrain and at varying speeds with my horse and they are very comparable with staying on the hoof. The only thing I noticed with the Scoots is that when I hit mud they did slightly twist, however when I purchased the mud straps from the company it definitely helped prevent that from happening a lot more. It can all depend on the fit of the boots, the terrain being ridden on, and the movement of your horse. If you have boots that are not the right fit (a little loose), that will make the twisting possibility more likely. ~Charnelle, RW
