I stumbled upon these Pub Choir videos recently - now I am addicted. Watching all of them, and some twice. Thank you Astrid and to everyone concerned; this brings joy and tears in equal measure. I cannot imagine living in a country where music, dancing and easy living is banned. We in Australia, the USA, The UK, Ireland, Wales, European countries, NZ etc are so fortunate. Do not take this freedom lightly, it is easily lost. (from a 75 year old granny who notices so much out of kilter in the world and is sometimes fearful for my grand son)

I really enjoyed this conversation on Game Changers. I plan find find more episodes of this most interesting show
I live in North Carolina now, but, years ago I I shared a flat in West End with a friends and taught at St Ita’s in Dutton Park. I married a boy from Coorparoo.
I first heard Astrid on the ABC Conversations.series and to my delight, I then found the Pub Choir videos on youtube. They are marvelous. I often have a singalong at home with the Pub Choir. I love the happy faces. Thanks Astrid and thanks Suzi for a great show.

Absolutly love what Astrid is doing, the only critisism is she is so alive and would like to see more of her and the band, in a corner of the screen, along with the choir.

“The men can sing some sea shanties” like wow!!
How patronizing. Meanwhile Astrid is a tonic and what we all need
