Excited to try this game out. I wish it wont be like Undawn where the higher level you are, the more it costs to make your account strong. It made the game so boring that fast. Though what I really want is that vibe that Lifeafter had before the huge update where LSS came. It was pure fun and survival feels.
Knowing netease for years, I am sure it would be pay to win

I’ve played all 3 Undawn and life after and the early version of this and tbh by the looks of it when they said the only thing that’s gonna be paying is cosmetics only that’s a bunch of bs because it’s a free game there’s no way they’re not gonna have a pay to win side to it especially a game like this it’s 90% chance of it being pay to progress fast then it’s a. 50% chance if it’s only cosmetic but tbh there hasn’t been a game that’s free that doesn’t have a p2w in it but by the game play alone it might just be grinding because in games like this there’s a always catch

I feel like this game will be kind of mid/bad, but for the price of free without pay to win that's still a good deal.
That being said I feel like the game simply cannot survive like that. Between the lack of content and lack of good revenue stream there won't b enough to keep them afloat.
I definitely still have hope for the game though. I think it would be the first free-to-play non-pay-to win (no advantages to buy at all) major/full-featured MMO ever launched?(I'm not counting a minor game like Realm of the Mad God before they were PtW, nor something like Runescape either due to being very feature lacking when it was entirely free)

Let me remind you that Tarisland is also advertised as non-P2W MMORPG at the start. You should always take what Chinese dev says with a lot of scepticism.

They could add some P2W aspects to it but Maybe like, In the Store you can only purchase something on time like Maybe 5x Blueprint Fragments for the gun you want. If they do that, the player would still have to do the work but If they buy it, it makes the process just a bit Faster.
Simply, They could sell blueprints in small amounts for a small price, but you can only buy it once.
If the devs want to add some "P2W" aspect, they should only make it so it just helps you a little and doesn't boost you to the top.

The movement is smoother than undawn. I hope it won't end up as p2w as undawn like the current event that you need to top up 120k RC to get bonuses and the character customization and design is as good as undawn at least.😅

Yeeeeah.. This didn't age well. Current beta does not drop blueprints from bosses or anything. You need to build a literal gacha machine in your base and spend a special currency that is extremely hard to obtain through normal gameplay. So yes. Netease strikes again.
they moved it to wish machine so it's more simple and guaranteed to get all blueprints, you have to farm

Undawn was only slightly pay to win at the beginning.but devs gone crazy with pay 2 win, players quited and its painful to look at the leaderboard.Not to mention the forced pvp where f2p players will be the toys for p2w.I reported its becoming harsh on f2p players ,they were like" uh uh... We are not a must pay game" f*k i quit .hell i regret spending money on that garbage
i've warned people about undawn years ago that it will be p2w, people didnt believe me.
Mind as well just Play Rust completely free 2 play, But i have to admit the graphics looks nice. And nothing is free 2 play when it comes to netease everyone should learn by now

Looking back on your previous gameplay videos has me concerned; the game seems less smooth and mobs seem more glitchy, and animations more clunky than your gameplay from 9 months ago, and the scaling on LEA labs seems way different, even quest text that was previously translated in your videos are now in a foreign language, why does it seem like the game went backwards?
I did LEA today and it felt nothing like what i saw in your video, all the elites were constantly having wonky problems with their abilities hitting us, following us infinitely, it just seems less polished than your gameplay just 9 months ago.
