T-bagging is a gentleman’s commend. I’ve also found that if I see someone breaking a cata I need or placing walls in a bad place, I’ll spam “No!” And they usually listen. Then I’ll say “Yes!” And squat where I want the walls to be or I’ll use the cata they were breaking and attack the enemy. I also like waving and saying “follow me” to the enemy and leading them to cool Easter eggs like the lamp on Askandir

Also catapult etiquette, if you see a guy doing the bulk of repairing a catapult, don't try to slip in to man it yourself. If he does the work, let him operate, unless he moves on.
Dear, NEW PLAYERS: It's very awesome to see so many new people getting involved with the game and community. There is a lot to know and learn like counter mechanics, good movement, etc. BUT What I think is the most important thing to this game is to be respectful/a good sport(most of the time). When I found this game about a year after it came out, what I loved more than anything was the community. There's no toxicity, there's no drama and as of lately, no cheaters. There's nothing like getting angry at someone for beating you over and over in a match, then having that same person save you in the next match. I know it seems silly to expect peace or manners in a medieval fighting game, but it's one of the things that made Chivalry so tolerable(I literally don't play any other game cause new games are awful lol) I've had a lot of people in the community tell me the main thing they worry about with the new flood of players, is a change of courtesy in such a tight knit community. None of this applies to archers though, they are free game!!! Hope you guys enjoy the game ❤
@@CorbanClears It's not weird to desire civility in a game called Chivalry lol, although I get your point. Toxic players will do what they do. The wholesome players just gotta keep doing what they do.
Really hope some of the newer players see this. The social servers are in a terrible place right now. Seems like everytime you get into a really good , fun fight, some idiot squire comes and ruins it. Newish players see someone RDM or get RDM'd and it turns into this vicious cycle. Thanks for making this and here's to hoping many see it, especially console players. Our communication is limited to just emotes.
play the objective! thats how you end up at the top of the scoreboard... ;-) oh and dont use the catapult on baudwyn when your team has to destroy the enemy siege equipment...

Couple days ago played with a guy who would blast all chat with "No honor" and "hahahah 5v1 noobs" etc. when he got killed in TO. Absolute brain damage😪
Letting people just pick their weapon up makes stamina meaningless. IMO you should get a hit in while they're stunned from being disarmed, and if you want to be honorable, let them pick their weapon up afterwards.
Good etiquette would be revive your teammate when the coast is clear instead of you wanting to get that revive score... Oh and archers this never applies to you either you always ignore downed teammates without fail I never waist a health pack on you😂
Another etiquette thing I'd like to add for the social/duelling servers; for the love of all that is holy dont be a sore loser either. dont just call false vote kicks on people because they are better than you. Instead, ask for advice on how to improve your own skill. And a smoll edit; I actually hate ambushers more than archers. Archers, while annoying, are at least honest about their intentions to shoot you - preferably in the face, but low levels often shoot you in the back too. Ambushers meanwhile.. they act all tough like a melee class and then back away to throw half a cutlery drawer's worth of knives at you when they realise they cant win in a fair fight.
I mean they do have shorter range and it’s blockable… sure it’s slightly dishonourable but they do have weaker weapons and are supposed to do that (have seen duel tourneys where people do this)
@@jtanimations2194 nothing stops em from committing to a duel properly though. I don't suddenly back out as archer either - and just because the range is shorter doesn't mean you're weaker c: If you can duel properly you don't need dirty tricks to win

Not really etiquette, but in team objective, if you see an enemy emoting multiple times at you, playing a harp, sitting on a bench, or just standing next to a teammate, it will be way more fun if you join them than if you just start attacking. Some of the most hilarious moments in the game are when people just goof off, so don't miss out!
noobs beware! When doing arena duels in 3v3. people will often (but not always) do 1v1s exclusively and may try to teamkill / votekick you if you play it like an actual 3v3
@@Nuggz1I agree. I always type in the chat when someone rdms me after already fighting 3 1v1s, they would apologize and I tell them this is how this game mode is supposed to be played.
