@@David-sc5kf 100%! There is a few top 20 players that are 1PP. It will just take a lot of practice and getting used to ur limitations. I also have coached a few 1PP perspective players and was able to help them out a lot!
Very good advice from a dueling perspective. I like the advice on gambling attacks. Reminds me of when I used to do MMA. Basically throwing out gambles to check the opponent. Used to get in a lot of free chip shots or hits and they add up. Like raise your guard or you gonna constantly get hit in the face or legs haha. Great takeaway for me was on not telegraphing drags or accels. Will be more conscious about that when dueling good fighters. When dueling lesser skilled players I telegraph my drags and they become the longest drags in history haha. Keeps their guard up, drains their stamina, and is funny to me. From a TO perspective I don't like spins too much. It's an invitation to get hit in the back. Some of the best duelists I know who can beat me 9.5 times out of 10 in a 1v1 get destroyed in TO which was very interesting to me when I first experienced it. Different fighting style for single vs group combat. Also reminds me of MMA, every time someone turned their back to do a spin attack me me they would get hit in the back, knocked down, or I footwork around them into their blindspot then get in free hits. But obviously, IRL MMA is different to Chiv.
@@FrozCoaching It is interesting because there is overlap like stamina management. I have long legs and used to have good cardio. In many organised fights that meant going for the legs because get hit in the legs repeatedly makes it harder to walk and do footwork. You can sidestep stabs in-game quite often with good footwork and it's so satisfying irl when you do that with a follow-up. Other things don't apply as much like circling away counter-clockwise to the opponent's dominant leg, hitting high/low, active hitbox (lol), etc.
@@klevinduck thats actually really fascinating to me. I did Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a few years back but there isnt much application there. Really cool tho!
This was great bro. I’m a terrible duelist so this was a lot of fun to watch and learn. He had me jump out of my seat in those Messer spins. I’m on console and doing any spins on the controller is just wildly difficult, for me. I’ve seen some of my console clan members get a a basic spin off but yeesh I haven’t even seen some of those spins before, looked like mordau silliness almost. Great vid Nuggz.
Glad you enjoyed thank you. Messer spins are the hardest for me for some reason but I used a lot of these tips last night and was playing a alot better it's kinda crazy
@@Nuggz1 lol I think esp with accel/drags there no visual indicators that its something you don't realize you can improve until someone shows you how. I struggle with drags in 3rd person esp overheads and not losing sight of people, or over extending in an accel.
Third person offers more vision and will make the game easier once you get the hang of it. But first person is just fine, use what you are comfortable with
99% of the player base is bad at the game. In a lobby of 64 players you will see maybe 2 half decent players. It's a casual game with some hard core players

Froz, I'll be making an appointment sometime in the near future.
@@bryansnyder9971 Excellent. Looking forward to it !
Can first person player be just a good as a 3rd person? I feel like it has a lot of disadvantages compared to 3rd. Especially doing spins.

I've been taking a little break from chiv. But I think these little tips are enough to get me back into it. Thanks Nuggz... and thanks FRÖZŁ
If I can retain even a fraction of this it will be helpful. Thanks a lot Nuggs and Froz
This was great. I was able to learn some tips from this lesson for sure.

I like the idea of applying your Real life MMA experience into Chivalry 2 haha.

Thanks for introducing me to Froz, he really seems to be the real deal!
the duel at 13:00 was a great bout. In the second half, froz kept showing his back to your rh side, just begging for an alt counter

Amazing video and this is making me consider his coaching :)
thank you for the support!
@@FrozCoachingno problem! Don’t have the money for coaching but I’m so happy that this helped :)
Audio cues? Now I see why some people were mad at me for binding attack buttons except lmb also to a battlecry! Why not, its fun and game allows that!
Lol wonder if that helps mask you heavy attacks or low stamina breathing. Might be a viable strat
I really like the drag/accel tips
Definitely a wake up call, you would think my timing would be pretty spotless by now 😅

Good idea for a video.

This was awesome to watch!
damn i should buy this guys metafy!!!

The king gave me personal training I am not very familiar with this but welcome to the idea
yeah man. its definitely something to try out!
Something to consider is telegraphing your accels and drags on purpose
I’ll coach this coach ;)
Pshhh tybbie
Can u counter the spin with a stouty jump?
Not really, you can jump a slash but you it's really risky. Jumping an overhead or slash is more consistent.

If it’s so easy go fight him
