With all the awesome 4k steelbooks and collectors editions that's come out, and the smell like you said plus the experience of opening up the presentation, how could you not love physical media!
I am so glad you share the love! I absolutely love physical media and it is some of my most prized possessions from a materialistic standpoint. I have all my favorite horror movies in steelbook(that are made) my steelbook collection is probably only around 20 but that's because steels are reserved for my absolute favorite horror. I won't lie it's hard to pass sometimes when I see a very nice steelbook come out but movies I really like don't cut it for steel it has to be an absolute favorite. For awhile I was buying everything that came out in steelbook then I noticed my steel section looks a lot cooler if it is only my all time favorites. It's hard to pass on some but I get them in other physical forms and have way too much I am told but personally I know that isn't possible you could never have too much physical media. The Wind and Nightmare at noon I will have to check out. Nightmare at Noon sounds badass but unfortunately I will have to buy it and wait to see it, i wanted to watch it tonight but cant find it anywhere to rent. Cant wait for the review! As always thank you for the recommendations.

I take physical media very seriously!
I love physical media, just ordered 21 movies in 20 blu-rays. Mostly old things I watched as a kid, and that probably will never have a 4k release. Old westerns and comedies from the 70s and 80s.

Unrelated but a few weeks ago I heard of the passing of Ruggero Deodato director of Cannibal Holocaust and Last Cannibal World. Has anyone else heard of this? Is it true? He was an important one in Italian horror. R.I.P. Deodato!🙏
