    If you’re wondering why this song only uses 4 of the strings, it’s because this song was actually recorded on a 4 string tenor guitar. Wes still switches to a tenor for this song to this day.

    • @TheRealMattFromWiiSports
      @TheRealMattFromWiiSports 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ok you said tenor twice so that proves you don't know what you're talking about. It's a four string BARITONE. Also no one that hasnt read this or found out from another source would ever look a at a cover of a nu metal song and go "hey he's only using*x* amount of strings. And don't even say "I did" because you didn't over half the shit you said was wrong

      Digging into it he's taking the complete melodic line and removing certain notes (like jazz, it's the notes you're not playing) The way it bounces with Sam rivers bass makes it sound almost played backwards.

    Hey man, what gauge did you use for the low F#?

    • @STFXLMNS
      @STFXLMNS  7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I'm using a pack of Ernie Ball 2625 (8string set). From high to low I used: 013 - 017 - 030w - 042w - 054w - 074w.

      Architects uses that tuning for some of their low F# songs like Gravedigger, Gone With The Wind, Doomsday, etc.
