I love the resurgence of the TMNT franchise, from the 2-d games to this type. I’m going to cop this at the end of next month
I can’t wait for the Last Ronin game.
It never went away, though. We’ve had a ton of TMNT stuff for the past couple of years, even if Rise didn’t get the intital praise it deserved it’s become a cult favorite, especially the movie being its pinnacle.
But, the release of Shredder’s Revenge and Mutant Mayhem helped regain TMNT’s popularity in time for its 40th anniversary this year.

Id say give it a month or 2 to see how the digital sales were and more than likely we will end up receiving a physical copy. It happened with TMNT Shredders Revenge, after the trailers dropped and closer to release they ended up doing. Physical. Not just one but X3. The original version had x2 then the revised version with DLC added on the cart. So I'm pretty confident we will eventually end up getting a Physical version for this too
@@TommyB1983 I imported my copy of Shredder’s Revenge. It’s a Special Edition and still sealed. I also bought it digitally and the DLC, then I got the revised American release with the added DLC on the cart. So I triple dipped. Kind of like what happened with Metroid Prime Remaster… I’m an idiot… but a happy idiot. 🤪
I’ll get the physical edition if it drops. I’ll wait, though. I only need one copy. lol.
im a huge fan of TMNT. i watch all the cartoons, live action films, play all the video games, and collect almost all the toys!
Been playing for an hour or so. I love this game. The hades structure is implemented very well. I cant help but wonder how a star wars game in this style would play out.

I had it on pre-order and I booted it up a bit before work this morning and it's great! Art is fun, sometimes a bit of slowdown for like a second, but I'm diggin' it! My turtle is always Mike; however, he never has the reach of the other turtles. Haven't made it very far, but can't wait to keep playing it!

Everytime someone hears roguelite they assume its like Hades. This game isn't even close to Hades (played 100 hours)

I just started playing this today.
As a fan TMNT since the 90s and of Hades, i am really impressed by it so far
Um actually a bit surprised it was a mobile only game.
They could have easily of just re skinned Hades and just put text boxes all over but they didn't.
Yes. Its very similar to Hades but it throws in enough new/tmnt related updates to make it feel fresh enough to warrant playthroughs.
Im really impressed with the voice acting as well. Very good quality.
The animations and controls are smooth and the gameplay is just as addicting as Hades.
Very fun game. I hope they release a physical soon.

beating Leatherhead in my first attempt felt really satisfying, but it's kinda annoying when Karai randomly decides to set everything on fire...
still, it manages to be both challenging and fun, and the dialogue and humor is very much classic TMNT....

It looks like Hades except TMNT, that's awesome. My biggest problem with the past games were the genres, like beat em ups or fighters, which I'm just not that into, but this i can get down with.

Roguelikes are, grid based where if you move the enemies move. Die, and loose everything, start from the first floor again.
The definition of roguelike has shifted for a while now. What you're talking about are called traditional roguelikes now. This is an action roguelike, or more accurately a roguelite because it has meta progression, definitely not an RPG.
I am so glad it's coming to other consoles, well at least PC. I want to play it on Xbox so bad.
