I have CPTSD so i kinda relate. CPTSD is a type of PTSD but its from continuous trauma such as parental abuse as a child or captivity abuse. Parental abuse is a type of captivity abuse but mine was from a stepmother... You never feel more hopeless than when your own family turns a blind eye to it even years later.
