Eminem entire verse shows vulnerability, uncertainty, not big on spirituality until confronted with the death of his own best friend, Proof. That's what makes this song so epic. The wordplay and cleverness, rhyme schemes, how Em dedicates the whole verse to Proof but only mentions him in the context of watching over him while also chilling out with other rap legends in the afterlife. It's beautiful, raw, literally the best things about music.

60 years old and I'm realizing I slept on one of the greatest artists of all time. Discovering Em during lockdown helped me survive. This is by far my favorite collaboration. Instead of battling they complimented each other to deliver a powerful message.

This song is a treasure. Yelawolf and Eminem's chemistry is perfect here, the subject matter in both of their parts is interesting, Yelawolf's singing is great, and Eminem has the most energetic, passionate, and lyrical performance that I've ever heard from him on a song. Also, the music video does a really good job at reinforcing the song's mood and makes the lyrics hit even harder.

The wordplay and cleverness, rhyme schemes, how Em dedicates the whole verse to Proof but only mentions him in the context of watching over him while also chilling out with other rap legends in the afterlife. It's beautiful, raw, literally the best things about music.
