Retired in Jamaica and Taking a Trip to Montego Bay!

- The boys start off the day showing off their gardens and all their glory. Then the rain comes, a workout gets completed, and clothes get hung on a line. We enjoy some pop choy and breadfruit from the backyard, and I invite everyone to play a game with us! A quick goodbye to the peppers and chickens and it's off to Montego Bay. On the way, we stop for Sakuras and see a new water feature in Ocho Rios. We reach safely, tour our Airbnb, and enjoy the evening on the hip strip at Coral Cliff arcade. Dave completes the evening showing off his happy dance. Richness is Life.

Do you know, that even though checkin is at 3 (and the room is typically not ready by then), that you are still permitted to use the resort facilities prior to then, if you arrive early.
You can leave your bags secured with the resort staff at the front desk, and enjoy the day from early!

I don't know if it's just me but Junior was so funny this episode. You're in really good spirits considering your hand is "bruk". I looked at some previous comments to see who the culprit was. I must say it's funny that the very person that bought you guys the juice container for Christmas didn't make juice in that said container 🤦♀️.

Enjoy your stay in the beautiful second city, my hometown. I see tomorrow is beach day🏖️. You can try a few in a walking distance, Harmony Beach Park, Sunset and Dead End (all at no cost). There is also Doctor’s Cave as well at a fee. An added bonus is seeing the planes come in at Dead End. The boys will enjoy that greatly 🛩️✈️. Have FUN 😎
Sound good! We opted for convenience and went with Doctors Cave...walked around Harmony and agreed Dead end is cool. Enjoy the weekend. Even found some sushi...🥰

I see you stayed at one of the most iconic buildings in Montego Bay, The Montego Bay Club Apartments. It is the only building in that area that has entrances to both the main roads aka top road and bottom road. Good place to stay if you want reasonably priced accommodations right on the Hip Strip. Stayed there on many an occasion, while traveling in Jamaica. Doctor's Cave Beach is right across the road, and although they charge for entry well worth the visit or if you want a good beach for free go to Harmony Beach Park. Pelican Grill may have been there 60 years or more. I remember eating there from when I was about 8 or younger and I am almost 68 now.😂
So true...a bit past its prime, but very convenient for parking a vehicle up top and getting around the hip strip! =)
Have fun in my hometown Montego Bay. If it is in the budget, consider taking the boys and Sonia to Coral Cliff on the Hip Strip. It is a games room, and I believe they will like the experience. Remember to avoid the KFC by Whitter Village unless you have a lot of time to spare. Also, be very diligent going through West St Ann into West Trelawny. Drivers in that section of the North Coast Highway have 'lead foot', and behave as if they are on Highway 2000 or a Formula 1 track. Have a safe and great trip. Also, the restaurant Wings and Tinz, out by Dead End has good burgers.

Another gr8 vlog...I've never seen inside that hotel. I've only taken their lifts to get from El Greco to bottom rd (the strip).
It was an interesting place...guess it's a condo technically, but the place isn't exactly new. Would have been cool to see it in it's prime...=)

Small world! I grew up in Lino Lakes right next door. Did some fun times at the Blaine sports complex and played some junior hockey at the ice rink way back in the day. Good times.😎🤙

I wish that were the case...but no, we've had their IQ's tested and results were low, and without much emphasis on schooling prior to our involvement in their lives, they're just behind. Working on catching them up...slowly but surely...=)
