Nice video I think it would be a good idea to tell people about Samsung Pay and how much safer and more secure it is. I use it exclusively when I need gas in the middle of the night. So much more secure. The only problem I have is not too many gas stations have it and the terminals spit out error messages sometimes but I just hit continue and it works. Oh yeah and the people at cash registers spit out error messages too but I just hit continue with them as well.
Zero animation is not exciting at all, transitions are too abrupt. I always change it from 1 to 0.5 on any phone I have. I think it's the best compromise between animation duration and speed.
Another 'Ninja tip' for you; under Developer Options you can select 'Force Dark Mode' which will force apps to use dark mode even if they don't offer it, can save additional battery use if you use apps which are not dark
Yeah but when I did that some of the apps text wouldn't show because of it being in dark mode and the text is black so I can't really see it how would I fix this

Most important setting imo; "minimum width" right below animation scale setting. Change from 384 to about 500. Mine at 526. Makes significantly more content fit on screen, similar to increase resolution on a computer. Love it!
Worth mentioning if you do disable animations in dev options it will NOT be able to run "edge lightning" correctly, so you can still leave them all disable but turn "animator duration scale" to 0.5 so it will be working. Like the comment so it will reach everyone

I always change the animations to 0.5 .. a regular eye doesn't notice, but you still get animations and it fits faster. On the EASTER EGG ... I pressed and saw the 11 and saw the cat at the bottom, but when i pressed it, nothing happened. 🤷🏾♂️

I always switch my layout from right to left in developer options then set my swipe controls in reverse order. As a left handed person it just seems more convenient to me and as an added bonus I get to laugh when anyone else trys to use my phone and gets totally confused

7:23 set up you index finger as a second finger print. That way you don't have to use your thumb in such an awkward way when the phone is on a table . I use index and thumb on each hand as you can have 4
I did this and I've been using my ultra for some time now. Honestly the front camera is no different but the nack is amazing. Everything else is pretty much the same to the s8 plus. Apart from the screen size. And this ultra is a lot heavier than the s8plus. Hope this helps.

Samsung Pay is also way more secure than your card especially at gas stations in the middle of the night. Unfortunately not many gas stations have contactless payments outside at the pump but more are getting it as they replace their old terminals.
You should only fast charge your phone if you have to. The best way to charge a phone is overnight on a slow charge. You get more charge in the battery and you will greatly increase the battery life.
MST emulated the magnetic strip, removing the need to swipe a card at a terminal. However, with the Galaxy S21 lineup, MST has been removed entirely from all three models. Samsung believes that NFC has matured to a point where it has been adopted in most places, removing the need for MST - so to your point. Probably still good to have Samsung pay in case of an emergency (or if you forget your card), the phone just won't work on non-NFC card readers.

Thank you for the comments on chargers! I was told at the store that if I use a lower watt charger with the regular USB connector on one end (as most of the older ones do, and in which I have invested hundreds of dollars in cables, chargers and batteries), it will ultimately damage the battery. What are your thoughts on this?
I just bought my S21 Ultra last month and was told the same thing, that was right before they tried to sell me a 25 watt charger, lol. I didn't buy it, if I recall in this video he mentioned that the higher 65 watt charger was slower than the 18 Watt one. The same would apply to a even lower watt charger as well, I use my charger from my Note 9 and it's a 7 watt charger The phone regulates the charge going to the battery so it won't hurt the battery. What does hurt the battery is waiting until the phone is about dead and then charging, it's best to plug it in when it gets down to 80% or somewhere close to that. I use my Note 9 for close to 3 yrs and charged my battery that way and I never experienced any issues in doing that way and had great battery life up until when I traded it on my S21 Ultra, hopes this helps.
Error about Samsung Pay, they removed the MST support for the entire S21 lineup, so Samsung Pay can ONLY be used on NFC capable terminals from now on, unless you have a supported devices from 2020 or earlier. One thing that sucks about switching from the S20 ultra to the S21 ultra is losing this feature.

USB-C chargers can either be PD standard (laptop) or Qualcomm Quick charge (cell phone). High powered PD charges may not support the Qualcomm Quick charge standard.

@@WEREWOLFUSMC no brightness is not enhancer at all its brightness. Enhancer is a different thing altogether, my s10+ has enhancer & brightness therefore they are not the same.

Yes and I agree. Every phone needs an SD card and I almost did not buy this S21 Ultra because of that. At the time I wanted the biggest screen and this was it. It would be so much fairer if Samsung would allow us to delete half the preinstalled garbage apps they force on us that we will never ever use in a lifetime so that we gain more space. When you put a 65W charger in, it won't actually slow charge. The wattage of the charger doesen't have anythiong to do if it fast or slow charges. Important is the charging protocoll. If you get any charger with Power Delivery, Quick Charge or Adaptive Fast Chrging, your phone will charge as fast as the cahrger allows with the 25W limit. The 65W charger doesen't fastcharge not because it's pwoer is too high, but because it doesen't offer any standard charging protocoll.
Trouble is today, they are bringing out fast chargers, more heat, shortens life of battery. A slow charger is kinder to your battery, and less stressful, so lasts longer

@@HawkyMagix Safe as houses Hawky. Modern phones have adaptive charging and will charge fastest from zero to eighty percent before slowing nearer to one hundred percent. Your phone can't overcharge with a genuine brand charger. I use a 25 W charger on my Note 9 even though it can only draw 15W to charge itself. No problems at all.
I fast charged my s10plus for 2 years no issues with the battery. Lasts for over 12hours for the past 2years. Upgraded to s21 ultra it's been wonderful
Ive had s2, s5, s7, s9, s20 and s21 ultra and the offline wifi/bluetooth scanning i didnt know about until i watched this 1 month after getting the phone.
One more thing I forgot to mention. Turn on your Dolby Atmos setting straight away...because, why not 😉

A 45w charges faster than the 25 samsung has confirmed 45w is the max for the phone

I tried looking for Video Enhancer and my phone doesn't have that feature. Nor does it have the feature for the Bonus Egg "system info"
Had my current Samsung phone in hand and was about to trade it in for the S21 Ultra. Found out the SD card has been omitted. Decided to check out other brands. Samsung is becoming more like Apple.
Yes and I agree. Every phone needs an SD card and I almost did not buy this S21 Ultra because of that. At the time I wanted the biggest screen and this was it. It would be so much fairer if Samsung would allow us to delete half the preinstalled garbage apps they force on us that we will never ever use in a lifetime so that we gain more space. My S21 does not have the Screen Resolutions menu button. How do I locate that? And I really like the developer option you demonstrated! WOW! I didn't, however, see anything different when I opened the easter egg. What does that do?

When you put a 65W charger in, it won't actually slow charge. The wattage of the charger doesen't have anythiong to do if it fast or slow charges. Important is the charging protocoll. If you get any charger with Power Delivery, Quick Charge or Adaptive Fast Chrging, your phone will charge as fast as the cahrger allows with the 25W limit. The 65W charger doesen't fastcharge not because it's pwoer is too high, but because it doesen't offer any standard charging protocoll.

Trouble is today, they are bringing out fast chargers, more heat, shortens life of battery. A slow charger is kinder to your battery, and less stressful, so lasts longer

Fast charging is bad for battery health anyways , unless you plan to keep your phone for less than 1 year then go for it

@@HawkyMagix Safe as houses Hawky. Modern phones have adaptive charging and will charge fastest from zero to eighty percent before slowing nearer to one hundred percent. Your phone can't overcharge with a genuine brand charger. I use a 25 W charger on my Note 9 even though it can only draw 15W to charge itself. No problems at all.
I fast charged my s10plus for 2 years no issues with the battery. Lasts for over 12hours for the past 2years. Upgraded to s21 ultra it's been wonderful

Ive had s2, s5, s7, s9, s20 and s21 ultra and the offline wifi/bluetooth scanning i didnt know about until i watched this 1 month after getting the phone.
