  • Living on BC's Sunshine Coast is AMAZING!
First, I love living by the ocean. Second, there's no shortage of outdoorsy things to do. Hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, outrigger canoeing... The list goes on and on.
As if that wasn't enough, I'm a 40 minute ferry ride to hikes and views like Mount Brunswick!
There's a lot (A LOT) of uphill in this hike but the views from the top and from along the way are totally worth the effort! How cool is it that I got to see the famous Lions from a different perspective!?
It's also SO rewarding to reach the top and get a spectacular view of Howe Sound, Bowen Island, Keats Island, Gambier Island and - of course - the Sunshine Coast!
I can't recommend this hike enough. These are some of the links I used to plan our trip. Or, I should say, Donna planned and I went along!

Well done. Good commentary too. Wonderful clear views as well. Kudos for a great effort. The worst part is always the climb combing down, which is why the sea to sky is one of my favorites. The Gondola down does all the hard work. Mount Harvey is a good one as is Black Tusk.Keep up the great reporting.

I did Brunswick mountain in winter. I broke my leg and fell over 50feet. I have permanent scars and have trouble walking. Consider your hike lucky

I love this video! I’ve done panorama ridge but have been hesitating to do Brunswick because it’s too narrow and over exposed. It looks like you can get a nice view without doing the narrow ridge, so it’s fairly safe to do this?
