Hi Robin, Another good video and amazing finger work and timing. I meant to tell you I had got an Ergo bag to with the sensor built in and found it much more usable and more natural than the foot switch, but you got yourself one anyway. I find myself watching your videos over and over and look forward to any new ones coming out, Im sure any piper could learn a thing or two from them. I listen to a lot of pipers (Im in Scotland) and there are many many good ones on you tube to, Im sure you could stand with the best of them. Thanks again for replying to my message previously, it was very kind of you to take the time. Regards, Rob.
Hi again Rob mvintrepid. Thanks for the nice comments. Yes the ergo bag and pressure sensor is great. I prefer to play the Blair that way rather than just as a chanter. The only time I use the foot switch is when I record my own playing using just the Blair chanter itself without the Ergo bag - I can effect a good "stop" rather than fumbling about trying to stop the chanter after the tune has ended. Keep playing! Cheers Robin
Hi Robin, Hope you are well, Ive not seen any new videos from you for a wee bit. Hope everythings ok. Have you done any videos of yourself playing The Atholl Highlanders? I dont see it in your video list. I would love to hear your version. Thanks so much for your help. Regards, Rob.
Hi Bob, thanks for getting in touch. All ok this end. The last few weeks I've been recoding some tunes on audio for a few people who wanted to hear certain tunes. I'll be back in my usual practice routine Monday 20th so I'll do Atoll Highlanders - my version I think is very ordinary - have you heard Stuart Liddell's version? Thanks for getting in touch. Regards Robin
@@bagpiperbrisbanerobinlivin9861 Hi Robin, I look forward to hearing your version but I will have a listen to Stuart Liddell,s version in the meantime. Im not sure anything you do is ordinary, lol. I think we all have our different ways of playing and interpreting tunes, adding feeling to ballads for example. Accents etc. Thanks for you,re message looking forward to you,re new video,s. Regards, Rob
Awesome
Thanks, glad you liked it!
