Shane, can I use this instruction to count a board per minute avg? I am needing to see at least 2 decimal places in the avg. I have an input (photoeye) that the boards run through to a sander, need a rolling avg of BPM. Thanks

Yes, just use a real data type and set it up to read every minute for the FAL instruction then average

@@ShaneWelcher Thanks, do I use the real data type in the "FAL" or the "AVE"? Also my VMware is asking to download a new revision, should I do it, or leave it as it is?

@@strictlyamps820 No reason to update VMware unless you are on VMware Workstation 17.
And yes, a real data type for the FAL

@@ShaneWelcher Shane, I am not doing something correctly for sure, lol. Would you happen to have a video on using a FAL and an AVE with a "REAL" data type?

@@strictlyamps820 use the search tab on my channel and type in the word "FAL" to see if there are more.
I've been making videos for over seven years
