  • PLC Data Stack Operations using FIFO and LIFO load and unload instructions.
The purpose of this animation is to illustrate the difference between the FIFO and LIFO data stack operations. In this example we will be using the FFL anf LFL load as well as the FFU and LFU unload instructions. We will push the three values to the two seperate data stacks using FFL and LFL instructions and the three values are pulled off the stacks using FFU and LFU instructions.
Ladder logic programming can be easily learned using the simulation tools such as LogixPro which is offered free with the PLC technician distance education program at George Brown College. Awesome. I was struggling with this for hours. I actually understood how the FIFO and LIFO commands work but i was using different control data files for load and unload commands. thanks for this
