This was an episode with chefs that LOVE the food that they make, in the environments that they make them in, and I felt that more than usual. They're all separate experiences that I think are equally worth their prices!

I always come back to this episode. My favorite of all time.
I always love that when chefs from the most expensive restaurants have passion and love for what they do and they prove why it’s worth so much. As opposed to just sprinkling a bunch of expensive items on a regular dish.
For real though, there's so much passion from that French guy at the end. That passion is what mind-blowing food comes from.
It kinda feels like the enthusiasm for the show has switched. Andrew seems to talk a lot more and even throws out the facts and Steven remains more nonchalant about the food up until they have to show how much they like it. Quite the contrast to Andrew being the one like ok calm down when Steven was really enthusiastic about the food.
T.Belivet-Aird I don't mind a change of pace but the total switch is a little depressing. Makes it seem like one has lost interest and an inevitable departure from the series is due.
This is why this series is the best thing on Buzzfeed, and probably ever will be. The rapport these guys have is so genuine and heartfelt, and makes you want to join them on their journey.

As someone who is from Provence, the last chef meant a lot to me. Unfortunately, when people think of French cuisine, they actually mean Parisian cuisine and our local food is overlooked despite being tastier, healthier and lighter imo.

Even though the episode is 2 years old, it’s still the best episode ever. They were having so much fun in Hawaii, the food was insane, and the chefs were all super nice. Also, Adam said the longest sentence he has ever said.
