The problem is that persons that hit on the shock drop and got their pairs pointed out inconsistencies with their pairs including the elephant print on the back. Hundreds of thousands pairs of these were made, there will always be inconsistencies

I love both and I have 3 of them
The “elephant” print is inconsistent from pair to pair. That isn’t a “tell” for what is UA and what isn’t.
Also, LMN or VW1 refers to the factory in which they were made, you will find some Jordans (or Nikes in general) that say CT, or other letter combinations. That isn’t a way to tell what’s what.
Before anyone tries to go in on my comments, I went and looked at all the Jordans I own, and they all had different letters, including the pairs I wear and the pairs in storage boxes. Google search will tell you that the letters refer to factories that they are made in. At this point, UA are the actual shoes, QC just didn’t pick them to be sold through Nike 🤷🏾♂️
That's the truth. These UA pairs will easily pass the authentication test.
Ngl there are some UA pairs that are better than retail pairs in terms of quality.

I got these today in grade school size 7 and the box has the Jordan logo and the cement print and the tag is not on them or the pamphlet but they are 🔥🔥🔥n authentic

I have a real pair with the bad elephant print QC issue. This is a rare occasion where I would take the high quality reps over the authentic pair.

You gone get a VW1 pair bro . Goat is shipping out the unauthorized authentic pairs. VW1 is a nike factory out in Vietnam. VW1 has had a hand in official releases but I don’t think they got the go ahead to make the 3s officially.

I’m using them for the first time but now they’re telling me the Reimagined 3s are OOS and i have to wait for a restock (about 15 days) 🤔
I’ve had no problems. If they want you to wait it’s only because they want to make sure to get you the best quality. I’ve had to wait on some I’ve gotten as well.
@@fortheloveofsneakers2608 ok thanks. I value your review and opinion on this seller. It’s a leap of faith for me to buy from them and I was caught off guard that these would be out of stock. Kinda figured I would never deal with the phrase “out of stock” when going this route so I’m a little put off. Especially since it’s the reimagined 3s, the most important release of the year to-date. But I’ll continue to wait. I already paid anyway.

Does the UA pair have the peaks on the toe box? I know the authentic pair has peaks.
Yes they do. Not as prominent but they are there.

I think i can fix that thick elephant print. You can use a little sander (dk what they call those lil thing) and make it thinner. But be gentle.

Is the jumpman angled slightly different from UA to authentic or is that just how the tongue is sitting?
The tongue is sitting funny. But the jumpman logos are slightly different. 👍
@@fortheloveofsneakers2608 i can see the slight difference on the jumpman logos. Differences are so slight except the elephant print. Places like StockX and GOAT will definitely catch it but i'm sure people on Mercari or Etsy might try and pass them as authentic. Good to see a vid like yours to help spot the differences

Your authentic pair's elephant print looks like it has quality control issues. That thinness looks bad. I believe it is an issue with shoes larger than size 10 in mens. And the alphanumeric characters are actually the factory they were produced. So a lot of pair's will be different from yours. I have a pair from footlocker that looks more like your UA pair. TH-cam quality control issues with these and you'll see what I'm talking about.
I wouldn't put it past some of these retailers to be selling UAs. In a couple of years, there is gonna be NO WAY to tell which is which
how about the inside smell of the sneakers? do they have same smell?
When I received the UA pair the smell was very faint. I have received UAs from luckshoes that smell completely authentic. Some have had that “fake” smell. But most have been very much hardly noticeable of at all.

why are you paying retail for a rep you can get that some pair for $30 if you use a agent like pandabuy or sugargoo

No toe box comparison?
So I recorded a video that had gust but it got deleted. Believe it or not there isn’t much difference in the toe caps or toebox other than on the UA pair. The tow boxes are completely different from each other, but both still decent quality very similar to some of the authentic threes. I’ve gotten where one shoe has looked different than the other and as a matter of fact, my pure money fours that I got looks like two completely different shoes, which I thought was weird but on the new release of the cement three reimagined, the toe caps or toe boxes are almost identical, and they have the peaks on the UAs and the authentic‘s that almost are perfect. On the UAs the peaks are slightly smaller then on the authentic. My bad

The elephant print isn’t a good way to authenticate the shoes Lol they’re all different. EASIEST WAY is to look at the toe box and bottom of the tongue if there’s a widows peak on both its legit if not it’s a UA

@@fortheloveofsneakers2608 OG pairs have elphant print just like the UA u have thats what he means... there's also OG pairs that come with mismatch left/right elephant print... thats how bad the QC in nike is atm...

They do it during production to keep it from moving

A nice way of calling it a rep or replica. It means “unauthorized authentic” but they’re Mainly really high quality reps that damn near pass as authentic. Basically

So the UAs on this release actually smelled close to the authentic. Some of the UAs I have had that “fake” smell. Some have smelled just like the authentic pairs. These didn’t have a strong fake smell at all.
What's a Jodan smell?
