I will tell you about two film Directors who were great one is Ingmar Bergman from Sweden and second is Satyajit Ray from West Bengal in India.
I really loved 1966 film Persona by Ingmar Bergman and 1966 film Nayak: The Hero by Satyajit Ray.
Satyajit Ray also made a 1962 film Kanchenjunga which was shot in Darjeeling.
