I love the palette, and Topaz is beautiful. I lived through it’s 80s/90s iteration and I still love it.

We live in a 110 year old house and are going with these type colors for the downstairs. Did NOT paint our stairwell, etc white. Deep terracotta in the entry and Radiance in the "front parlor" and other two downstairs rooms. Still thinking on the kitchen.

Love all these colours. I could get through our long winters with these.

Best palette in a long time.! I went with Tandoori for a feature wall years ago, even more bold.

I LOVE it. Thinking of using topaz as a ceiling color in the powder room with some talavera tiles on a wall. Maybe the vanity can be rural earth. Sea urchin on the walls w/o tile. Inspiring color palette!!

My powder room is the Topaz color, and looks wonderful. Love the sage green color.

Excellent video, James, in all aspects.
I'm 71 now, and, have longed for & craved cool colors (+ temperatures) all of my life. When I worked at any office, I would silently rail against the suffocating overheating -- as I called it.
Now that my circulation health has taken a 180° turn, I'm constantly seeking warmth, and find myself CRAVING luscious, warm color (which used to "smother" me).
Enveloped, wrapped, luxuriating, are how I think of my new beloved warm color-friends.
Thx for being there, through cool and warm times.

I love Topaz for my dining room and already have a gray green in the adjoining living room of my 1921 house.

I like this color. But I like color and I would use it on the walls to bring warmth to a north facing room. I also like your color combinations. Well done!

After seeing your great video I will be using all the paint colors in my new house. Front door Topaz. Stutters near door will be painted Rural Earth. I’m going with Dry Sage in my kitchen and living room. I chose Sea Urchin for the back rooms of 2 baths/2 bedrooms. I am so excited to put the paints on the plain white walls! I just love this color palette you have presented and it came at the perfect time for me. Thanks for your expertise.

Dry Sage and Rural Earth, ooh la la. Separately and together.

I love all of the colors in this pallette, except for rural earth. Rural Earth is a little too cold of a Brown tone for me. It maybe because it's in a flat paint and needs a little sheen in an eggshell.

I like the whole palette as long as you REMOVE TOPAZ. For anyone who is too young (like ahem, you, James) to have lived thru the hell that was late 80's/early 90's terracotta, this is a good sense of the penance we did during those years so that you wouldn't have to. We live to tell the cautionary tale. The only thing that would make it worse would be if it were sponged or rag-rolled on, which is the torture that awaited anyone who opened a design magazine then or, Gd forbid, actually did such a thing in their own home. Normandy and Dry Sage are my favorites from this group but again, ☠on the Topaz.

Love your opinion on that time a lot. I also remember the feathered wall…lol. Painted on with a feather duster.

Great color but it looked strange with cold grey for some reason. I think you would have to be careful with this. It is vibrant, but not off putting.

    Topaz is almost pumpkin- nmsaa.
I would rather have a bright orange… used that in a nursery once. This is awful. JMHO. I do like Normandy a tad, but the rest of the palette is nmsaa.
