@@Fuzxguys Cool, the highest combo that I have ever gotten was 583x, I also did it in the Iceberg Lounge. I was playing as Batman in Arkham Knight and I was trying to get the requiem for a killer achievement.
I see your point, since Nightwing was always known for being the acrobat of the bunch, but you also got to think about the fact that Batman learned every form of combat, ((I think not fully sure,)) and mastered it, this includes some forms with a lot of acrobatic stuff, I can understand even more if we talk about Origin's Batman or Knight since they both are wearing more armor in those games, but in this one and Return to Arkham, Batman is hardly wearing a protective layer due to his experience. But nontheless I can see your point, and I'd much rather see Nightwing or Robin flying around rather than Batman.
@@deludedgaming107 yeah this was exactly what I was thinking of. Not just Batman's armor, but I also imagined him to be of a bulkier build and be more about striking fear into his enemies by attacking from the shadow. I also imagine him using more gadgets. Not to say that Nightwing can't do the same or vice versa, but based on my perception of him it feels better to see one of the flying Grayson's fly around like this during combat like he's mixing martial arts with his circus acrobatics.
I perfectly agree, Nightwing has a slimer build than Batman, you can just simply look at their models and tell this. PLUS Nightwing was also Robin before, and I think the only Robin that really took AFTER Batman's style almost perfectly was sadly Jason, yes ofc he was not JUST like Bruce, but he fought similar, he feels like he hits SUPER hard in the Knight game, along with he feels so amazing to play as in Knight while in stealth, but Jason also had the biggest build out of the Robins, the most similar to batman, while Dick and Drake had slimer builds, along with Bruce's son, since the league trained him as an Assassin. And ((Not saying he is horrible at stealth, but I much prefer Batman with stealth, he feels smoother then Nightwing, while Nightwing feels like he strikes faster in combat and over all just feels smoother in combat, while in stealth he feels like you need to play him much slower then batman, while with batman he feels slower in combat, but he feels like he hits harder yknow? Glad someone else agrees! And I love talks like this, it makes things so much more fun hearing what others have to say about things like this, pls do respond:)@@JohnnyCenter25
Bro I've played to much AC and you need a lot of patience and reflexes to maintain the combo and the pace so you don't stop it. And you keep it for almost half an hour, you're on other level, impressive
Wow. Best Nightwing gameplay I’ve seen. I used to be really good at Arkham’s combat system, I still am, I absolutely loved using catwoman on iceberg lounge back in the day. Addictive!
I like playing as Catwoman in Iceberg Lounge as well, but it gets boring after a while for me because of the amount of shield and shock baton thugs. Thanks, by the way.
I love the idea that while Nightwings just casually handing every kind of every goon of every villain in Arkham City's ass to them Batman's just lurking overhead somewhere, looking down at his boy with an impressed look on his face and the proudest manliest tear rolling down his mask.
The Arkham games have so much playability it will last for a very long time this is what happens when devs make a good product they care about. Every time i play Arkham and City it’s such a treat just to look at everything
I'm just lost for words rn. This is the best nightwing combat I have ever seen bro. You and Bervik are truly the best at Arkham combat imo. It so amazing how you have mastered the combat because I suck at combat, I'm only good at stealth 😂. This vid is going to keep blowing up! You will be over a 1000 subs in a day or two, trust me! Keep up these vids bro!
Thank you so much, and I can somewhat relate because I'm only good at combat and I'm not that good at stealth. I hope that this video keeps blowing up and I get 1000 subs in the next day or two. I'm going to trust you.
@@mel-el5862 Also, not trying to sound rude, but I watched a bit of the combat sections from your Arkham Asylum 100% walkthroughs, and you get hit quite a bit (I will admit though that Arkham Asylum has pretty clunky combat), but my point is that I don't think you can beat this score or combo if you're struggling in arguably the easiest and definitely the most simple game in the series, but maybe you have improved a lot since then and I am wrong.
I recently have been playing through the Arkham games again for the 1000th time after a few years of not playing it. Ur my inspiration in mastering freeflow combat. It's extremely impressive as is entertaining. Im gonna lurk on your other vids cuz Im a fan now
Bro how many times u had to re do this to be this good? I've tried doing this as a kid and never got this far, I still can't. This was awesome to watch
My mistake is I'm always going for takedown a+b and quick gadgets. I think that throws me off. I also take every knife fight, I just found out that dodge rolling and stunning doesent break ur combo. This is great. Thank you. I've been theorizing that it should be possible to keep going if you have the enemies.
this video deserves to have at least as many likes as the score count, i didn't know it was possible to be this good at the game and just found it bc Nightwing is my favorite character and ive been struggling to reach the score goals on the combat maps with him since i was used to just doing all gadgets on Batman to try getting them
Literally just under 3k combo and a little over *_50 million_* points. That was insane to watch and I can't begin to imagine the time and effort spent getting to this point. Very well done, man, this beyond impressive.
You have absolutely mastered the game at a mechanical level, you absolutely know how to game the freeflow system to get the absolute most out of it, however, i think you should work more on making aesthetically pleasing gameplay with far more variety in the combo using more specials and different moves, just hitting and countering makes the gameplay look too basic, which is obviously what you have to go for if you're trying to reach that x3000 combo, but i'd confidently say that a diverse and well paced x800 combo will be substantially prettier and look more impressive for a video than a super barebones hyperpaced x3000 combo, and i feel comfortable saying this to you because i can tell that you could absolutely do a varied, aesthetically beautiful x800 combo if you felt like it. Great video nonetheless.
I'll try getting a x800 combo with that style of gameplay, and I also have a lot, and I mean a lot, of videos with that style of gameplay you mentioned (even though they are nowhere near a x800 combo). I'll link a few of them below, and if you want to see more, consider checking out my channel. But I don't think that a x800 combo would be more impressive than this run with that style of gameplay, even though it would look substantially prettier and probably look more impressive to lower-skilled Arkham players. I keep flipping a coin over whether I still like the combat here over the Spider-Man games from insomniac. There’s a simplicity here in the controls that the Spider-Man games over complicate. And the timing and responsiveness of the controls are a little better. But I also kind of like a Spider-Man’s webstrike and regular strike separate with a couple hits to take an enemy down, over one button launching Batman(Nightwimg here) across the map, to deliver one attack to an enemy to knock him down.
I always thought Spider-Man had more simple controls and more simple combat. I personally like both combat systems equally, but I have not played Spider-Man 2, only Miles Morales and the first game, so I might change my mind if I ever play Spider-Man 2.
@@MoonArkham spider-Man 2 wipes the floor with the Arkham games when it comes to traversal, I’ll tell you that. The web wings are a better form of gliding than the cape glide. @@MoonArkham I gotta do a tossup there. Arkham Knights cape gliding, seamlessly transitioning into getting in the Batmobile and then ejecting to go high in the city for another cape glide. That was a joy. But it got beat by Spider-Man 2’s web swinging and web wings.

@@Fuzxguys Cool, the highest combo that I have ever gotten was 583x, I also did it in the Iceberg Lounge. I was playing as Batman in Arkham Knight and I was trying to get the requiem for a killer achievement.
Nightwing: “I forgot how well we worked together.”
Batman: “I haven’t. I only work with the best.”
Seeing Nightwing flying around like this always made more sense to me than Batman doing all of these stunts. This was stunning to watch!
Thanks

You’re crazy bro nice job. Im glad this videos blowing up

I will admit, though, that just countering and striking looks pretty basic to a lot of Arkham players.

Mastering Arkham combat means realizing that it's actually way better for your score to just hit Attack the vast majority of the time, and don't mix it up.
Combo counter multiplier gets you way more points, and you end up making way more of an impact.
Its also alot more fun that way, quickfiring gadgets is effective and multiples the combo but often times it just overcomplicates things
Quickfiring gadgets can be effective if you use them correctly, but I think not using them is better if your goal is efficiency.

Now THAT's a Titan. I think you just set a world record with this one.

Since you're a pro, what do you think about Arkham City combat compared to Arkham Knight's?
