I grew up driving a 970, spent thousands of hours on it. But ours had a cab. As a child I really liked that there was room behind the driving seat for me to sit and ride with my Dad. Lot's of memories. We finally traded it in in 1994.
We were a Cockshutt farm up until the 55 series mess. When grandpa needed a 2nd "big" tractor he bought a used '72 870 in 1974. From that point on we bought all Case or Case IH until 2012. That 870 led to a 2090 a 2294, two 4494's a 7220 and an MX120. We still have the 870, has well past 14000 rated hours on it now.
Beautiful tractor! Love the style and colors. Tough looking! Our neighbor Bob Coover had an 870 and he did custom haying for us. Rode many hours riding on the fender with him. Make hay while the sun ☀ shines Bob! Rest in heaven!
Certainly one of the most immaculate tractors I have seen, in the Case line. Mr. John Thierer is one nice (lucky) man. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!
How do you get a hold of the case document department? I have a 1957 case 350 with the serial number 6080001 and I have wanted to know more about it but I can't find someone who could tell me anything about it.
I used to work for a farmer that had a1370 that the pump was turned up and it was putting out 220 horse on the the dino and you clean title it down because it was slobber all over the hood and of course the hood was white and it made one heck of a mess
be helpful if case did a run on parts for the 70 and 90 series tractors before we run out of simple tractors and food the new ones are just out of reach and cant say the electronic ones are the way to go spent an hour waiting for the farmer to finally go get another tractor to tow the truck in and out while the puma got parked beside the straw stack due to error code good thing it wasnt going to pour rain or escape a fire
😊😊 alit of the old school 🏫 😊 diesel engines didn't have glow plugs years ago it wasn't later on the injectors and the injector pump must be good and the engine must have good compression and not worn out otherwise U might as well do a complete engine overhaul that's the only way U will bring the engine back 2 specs 2 what it should 😊😊 OMG 11 17 2O24

They sure look beautiful all shined up!
My brother-in-law was a case dealer. I remember when those tractors came out! Quite a tractor right there!

We ran John Deere's in the 60's but I admired Case tractors a lot. Even the 30 series were cool.

The case 2590 is my favorite! the 970 is 2nd
My dad owns a 1170
My brother and I bought A9 70 with a cab to save a few bucks we didn't get air conditioning woe was that a mistake
In line bosh injection pump makes for fast starts.
