That 1070 Ti at 1080p held me over for quite awhile, until I decided to sell it a year and a half ago after switching to a Series X. The problem was that the card just wasn't holding up very well for modern titles under Linux. DX12 games it ran well under Windows ran like hot garbage under Linux due to a hardware limitation of the Pascal cards that caused VKD3D (DX12 to Vulkan compatibility layer) to work super slowly. So I figured I'd sell the card, and put the money towards fixing up my Honda to help cope with gas prices, and switch to AMD later on down the line. I've since sold that Xbox and bought an RX 6600XT which handles modern games on Linux phenomenally well at 1080p. One of the best things about that 1070 Ti was that it was one of the last cards to have a DVI output, which is required to use the 144Hz mode of my 1080p monitor (2013 acer). Still using that model, and it's kind of a bummer to be stuck at 60Hz with HDMI. Might be time to upgrade my monitor next.

Rainbow six jumping to 2k frames during loading made me laugh 😂
4:44 those gpu temps though! I assume those two fans must be static pressure and not case fans
I've bought one for 295 Euros (I sold my RX 580 8GB for 280) and for 15 Euros it's a great upgrade. Considering the fact that I payed 100 Euros for the 580 back then this was a great deal.
i did the same upgrade but i paid 160 euros for my gtx 1070 ti
@@maskie4872 good deal, i got myself an 6800 2 months ago since i wanted to future proof my system
@@funxify7848 do you suggest I upgrade to a rx 5700 xt or rx 6600 from the 1070ti?
@@maskie4872 the rx6600 is really power efficient but i don't know if it is really worth upgrading to because the performance isn't that much better compared to the 1070 ti
Bro this video itself should break the graphics card market
Bro I had this card for a year and it’s so good for the price
its more than enough like MORE THAN ENOUGH for budget gamers
zwormz: my cs go skills are basically gone now
proceeds to kill everyone
That's an Arctic Accelero IV cooler. The Accelero III is a lot better because it comes with all the heat sinks for the memory and vrm chips. I sold a 1070 ti just like this one except with all the heat sinks mounted for $375 last January and I used the money to buy a 3060 ti for msrp ($620 for an MIS 3060 ti gaming x trio). Great card. I love it.
hi kryzzp i wanted to tell u something really imporant about stutters that occurs in days gone even when the game is runing at high fps , the problem is u have sync interval on 1 u should put it to 2-72 means if u have 144 ( 144÷2=72) and i think u already know about it , i watched so many videos and i checked everywhere and nothing helped me but this i figured it myself and of course i had no idea what i was doing bc i had really bad stutters and i love this game this is why i put to much time to figure what was the cause of the problem and i promise u this will fix the stutters for everyone , and i hope u can explain to me why this fixed my problem and iit might fix the problem for other games too , thank you for your time and of course this was a good video keep up the good work bro u are amazing !
Edit : u have to enable vsync too
I have a 60Hz monitor so I always play CS GO at high settings...It seems pointless to play on low just to see some 3 digit numbers in the corner of the screen as long as your panel doesnt have a higher refresh rate. Anyway ,good video and that is a pretyy interesting GPU .
Ty for the good work keep it up also be safe
Hey man, nice video keep the good content! Love ur videos.
I have a 1070 ti paired with a R5 3600, I still have zero problems running any game and if you chang the settings to more competitve settings in the shooters im usually far above 144 fps
3:00 realmente, não sei se pode se comparar a um monitor, mas na tela do meu celular que é 1080p 6.24 polegadas fica muito parecido com 1080p nativo
obvio
I actually made a 1070 TI build with a 9600k for my nephew right around the time the 3000 series was announced I got it for like 200 bucks and it runs his 1080p 144 Hertz monitor wonderfully
You finally review my card ❤️
ahahaha bem parecia que eras português! grande canal precisavamos disto em portugal, a tua custa que comprei a minha rtx 2060
I just bought a Zotac 1070 ti Mini for $155. Nature is healing❤️❤️.
Good sunday video after a long time 😉
Hope you enjoy it!
@@zWORMzGaming always bro😃
Those temps are so good with the custom fans. Under 50c under load
I got the accelero xtreme iv on my 2080Super, replacing the terrible blower fan cooler. Should not need any extra heatsinks if the backplate is installed correctly. @ 01:23 you can already see it was not installed correctly lol. There should be termal pads under all the major heat producing parts and you are also missing the clamps to keep everything straight.
"Don't Judge a book by its cover"- It's real though 💯
I have a gt 1030 and in my country GTX 750ti is expensive as damn so I watch your vids to get some help
i knew from the accent that you were Portuguese right? Nice videos btw
Yes I am! Thanks :)
Cyberbug 2077 You can't unhear it
I'm just going to play Minecraft, So PERFECT!🔥🌟🌟🌟
thats $186.30 in usd... damn thats a deal
*sees the temps*
Aight imma get those mods
FINALLY THIS GPU. THIS THING WAS A FREAKING MONSTER❤️🔥
i am proud of myself that i bought a 1070 in 2019 as currently even 1650 super is more expensive than this
18:18 the 1070ti has the “Norse Power” to run AC: Valhalla 🥰🤯😝
Kryzzp be like : I have a museum of graphics card in my house, those who want to see can come on weekends 😂😅. Love from India 🇮🇳 ♥..
one condition, you can't steal anything! xD
I’m a 750ti kinda guy.
Can you test the RX 550?
I watch these reviews just to see Jack again in GTA V.
hollyyyyy that new internet 25 ping on cs go!!
Yeah, it's awesome, I upload videos in 2-5 minutes instead of 2-5 hours now 😃
@@zWORMzGaming exacly, welcome in 2021
@@zWORMzGaming what is your speed?!!! That's such a huge upgrade it's unbelievable
I think you should more videos on games like Resident Evil Village, Alan Wake Remastered, Outlast and horror games cause its halloween this week
Hello bro I am a great fan of yours
I wanted to suggest you that please make PC build videos.
That would be great you know
Shall we 😂
Grabbed one of these cards for $200 this week. Good to see it's still got plenty of life left in it
any regrets? thinking of picking one up
@@tariboclaxton2123 Just keep expectations in check. It's great for running games in high settings provided it's 1080p or 1440p, and I keep my framerate locked to 60 for games like RE Village.
But I'm quite happy with it coming from a 1030
This video card is simply the best for playing on a CRT monitor with a resolution of 1280x960 and a refresh rate of 90 hertz. CRT is a technology with no motion blur and even the lowest screen resolution of 640x480 looks good. Real black. There is no input lag due to the analog signal. ViewSonic monitors have achieved a high resolution of 2560x1920@65Hz (Quad HD with an aspect ratio of 4:3).
epic sunday video
Love your videos
Thanks for 💖
I like the fact that this 1070ti is running colder while gaming than my xfx rx 570 in idle 🙈
