Hey, thanks for adding to the conversation. Yeah I had to narrow the list to a specific category which I thought was most valuable for this video but so many options across the state that people would love. Thanks again for watching.
It’s much cheaper to buy and live than these median prices. I live in the beach area around Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Naples (these are all very close to each other) and there are plenty of places for sale far under a million or $700,000. And, you can rent very nice condos for under $2000 a month as permanent living. Many of these real estate agent videos make it sound like you have to be a millionaire to live in beach towns in Florida, which is simply not true! I only make an average income, and here I am, enjoying it all!
Hey, thanks for the comment and insight. These are the actual numbers not me trying to make them look more expensive. This video is based on walkability to the beach. Very different if you're 5 or 6 miles inland versus being in the actual beach town. Completely agree with all of your comments with that perspective. Thanks.
My husband and I are currently planning a move to Florida (his home state). And I can just say that if your top number starts at $3M, then your bottom number isn't gonna work either. We've found places "near" a beach for much less. Sounds like you're catering to a minority of buyers.
Hey, thanks so much for watching. Yeah this list isn't catering to really anything...this is just literally listing the actual numbers for every beach town that you could walk to the beach on the entire GulfCoast. However, to your sentiment, there are a lot of more affordable beach towns that exist on the Atlantic coast or other parts of the state as well. I thought it was most fair to list them all so you would have the full picture but I did not add anything incremental to the numbers... just stated them. Thanks again.
Great list. However, anything in the panhandle gets a winter... Too cold to swim and freezing temps after Turkey Day and until the end of February. Gotta go south of Tampa for winter month spring type weather.
Hey, thanks for watching. Yeah, you are definitely right. It's like a different world in Florida terms. I lived in Gulf breeze for about five years. I'm super partial to the panhandle, but Southwest Florida might be the best central mouse trap if you had to pick one. Thanks again.
Beautiful locations! Thank you for the information- I’ve only been to east coast of Florida. The beaches look gorgeous on the Gulf Coast!
Thanks for watching!. Yes, so many beautiful Gulf beaches. Check them out!
Look at the forgotten coast in Fraklun County FL; Carrabelle, St George Island, Dog Island, is a beautiful area.

Where’s an old-Florida-on-the-cheap, best-kept-secret, private place like Casey Key used to be…..
Excellent video, appreciate the effort put into it
Hey, thanks so much for watching the kind words

That's what a median is...
Title of video seems to be very misleading. I believe it says cheapest. This seems to be the most expensive!
